I've always thought a level with 2 islands as the bases connected by pelicans which do regular flyby circuits would be sweet. Since these can be scripted, and banshees are in game, it would be entirely doable too. I always loved the beach assault on Silent Cartographer, and if that type of action could be made into a Multiplayer level it would rock.

easy either a space port assault where a bunch of marines parachute in and take over ther port or a beach assault level. It would kick so much ass to see like a landing point on the covanant homeworld with like 50 dead marines all around you your pelican getting shot at like crazy ya know all the good stuff. The more chaos the better.

K, were talking about MP here not a mission. My idea of the ultimate MP level would be a level similar to sidewinder, except more caves, obstabcles to hide behind, etc.

Mine would be a slient cartograph type level with the two bases (duh) with all the vehicles

Single base map... just one base. For Assault games. Spawn points are on the outer points of the map for the attackers. This way the base does not know where the attackers are coming from.

Good cover from snipers at the base.

Brush or other cover in certain areas near the base.

Get to the "controll room" and hold it for 30 seconds or so to win...

if we're talking Ultimate Mplayer level the it can have anything we want right....

Silent Cartographer type landscape (similar size) where all you Marines and all the Covies are Human controlled Online... I'm talking hundreds of guys engaged in a huge beachside frag fest... Human vs Covies - all types of weapons - all types of vehicles - do anything you want - respawns via dropships (reinforcement style) - dropships arrive (for both sides) sooner if there are less people to bring in - eventually one team will be able to kill the entire other team before a dropship arrives and the game is won....

That is my Ultimate Mplayer level...

I got an idea call it BATTLE GULCH for battle creak and blood gulch combinend.

Split up battle creak half and put the bases at the end of blood gulch which is the center.
Looks like this Don't forget to remove the walls at the end to connect the map.

BATTLE CREAK RED: BLOOD GULCH FULL :BATTLE CREAK BLUE

Give the teleporter at the back of the battle creek base a one way exit into the blood gulch base. where the gulch flag stations were.

have the creak connect to blood gulch via caves and the ladders and arch in battle creak connect to gulch via ridge along the sides.

FOR BEST RESULTS CTF WITH ALL VEHICLES.

it would be having 16 player and some how make it possible for 4 teams (4 a team) then see how sidewinder is half a cross double it and play capture the flag going for any ones flag

5miles by 5miles, 200,000 players, Completely distructable envitronment, Tanks, Worthogs, rocketlaunchers,shotguns, smgs,rifles,pistols and about one million granades. Two sides each with 100,000 people. And in the middle me with a plasma granade, pistol and a rocket launcher with only one rocket left.

Give me five minutes... to pray.

two sc like islands with deep water in between so that people crossing the open water will not be seen by snipers and the bases will be on each island with turrets, planes and tanks on each side best played with at least a hundred people

When i first heard about "the silent cartogropher" (excuse the spelling) i thought that would be ideal, but i suppose 2 islands would be better with some sort of beach landing, stationary guns, stealth etc could be amazing.

the best Multiplayer game type would be a Survival type thing with wave after wave coming at you and your friends, or just you. you can set the difficulty and theres a timer to see how long you can last, it gets harder as it goes on. as for the best Multiplyer map that is the Blood Gulch, nothing beat it.

A Blood Gulch type level only with the bases from Sidewinder...at night...in the rain. It could be lit slightly by "moonlight" with "lightning flashes" helping also.

Uh lets see, how about one that has a vague "X" shape and a creek dividing it into five different squares. Then there is one base in the middle and there are respawn points in each end of the x. Like this

Get it? Oh and in the dark. So you have to use night vision with the sniper.

Not the best but okay.

An extremly dense forest (similar to Far Cry's jungle) with varios strongholds or bunkers throughout the area on the top of a small hill , built into a steep rock wall ,or gaurding a vital bridge. The level would play at nigh and have lights and Mounted weapons with spot lights and all the new vehicles that are coming out. And the entire place is destructable, so the trees could fall bases could be pummeled with rockets and tank shells to be turned to ruble and craters and such would cover the ground. The map would be very large and hold 32 players.

i think the idea of you and some friends or just yourself on a levele like blood gulch or something and you have to survive as long as you can and it gets harder and harder. Imagine you and your friends begin the level blood gulch and a five minute timer pops up, you have five minutes to get into postition, then hundreds of dropships start coming and droping tanks, ghosts, grunts, jackels, eletes (all kinds red blue black gold) and hunters anll of them are storming the red or blue base. your and your friends start sniping but theres too many they just keep coming. You pushed back all the way to the base, where you make your last stand when all of you have been killed and no one has respawned in time its over. Now that would be awesome, or you could do in a hall way level where the covent continually try to take over the base corner you and kill you.
