Firstly, how is the 4 player game played?
Is it:
1. 4 people on 1 XBOX (4 way splitscreen)
2. 4 people on 2 XBOXs (2 way splitscreen using systemlink)
3. 4 people on 4 XBOXs (Full screen using systemlinks and a router)
If its on 1 XBOX then I suggest fast Free For All games because although no-one admits or means to do it, screenwatching happens. If you make it a fast game then no-one has the time to screenwatch.
If its on 2 XBOXs then I suggest some low strategy team games. CTF won't really work with only 2 vs 2 because the low number of team mates means the usual tactic is 1 Attacker, 1 Defender. CTF should be played with at least 4 a side. With 4-8 players on your team you can make really complex strategies to fool your oppenants. Almost write plays like American Football coaches do.
If its 4 XBOX's then its likely that each XBOX will be in a different room; or at least 2 to a room. With 1 person you can play really good Free For All matches with any gun. The size of the screen makes good sniping because its only you seeing it then there's no screenwatching.
