Subject: Sad what happened to this forum :(

WAY too many 'Need help with vidmasters' threads on this forum, though i suppose bungie could have predicted it by putting vidmasters in a game with no easy way to pick up peeps to do it with other than direct solicitation.

It would be cool to get some threads about ODST with some SUBSTANCE again, because i for one thought the game was really good, some of bungies best work (except the grenade arc(wtf?) and the automag silencer not actually allowing you to pick of a group of covies in the dark without them instantly knowing where you are)

Im sure the game is packed with easter eggs some of which i noticed while playing, like the glyphs, i mean were those ever figured out? and what other cool stuff is hidden away i wonder....

This should be a better thread i beleive than 'NEED 4 FOR ENDURE' which should also only be being posted in the classifieds afaik.

We Surround Them!

This forum has gone down hill because Bungie is abandoning this game, unfortunately. This could have been a great new direction for the Halo mythos - but instead this is just one of those games that gets left in the wake. Personally I love the game and never tire of playing it - either solo or co-op. But coming here is becoming a nightmare of teens screaming for Endure and Deja-Vu help or asking for assistance in getting a team for the 200K achievements when no team is needed.

I had wondered about that......bungie wasnt exactly subtle about the marketing of odst, it had its own huge play demo at e3, and they did they usual ARG stuff, even charged full price for it like it really was their next big thing.....and about a month after it came out, they just forgot about it like it was all a huge mistake and havent mentioned it since, even though it sold loads of copies. I happen to think its some of bungies best work (especially from marty) and was defiantly a good testbed to try new ideas out so that they could get reach just right, though thats not all it is.

Then again, it did sell craploads at full price, and reach is around the corner and they want people to be focussing on that now, so in the end perhaps bungies apparent attitude towards ODST is just.....business?

I know. After the release of ODST this forum collapsed due to multiple factors. I miss the earlier days of this forum with all the speculation before and after E3 '09.
