I hate having to keep switching back and forth between H3's superior bumper jumper setting and H2's standard. So I plan to use Xpadder (a program that allows you to map key bored buttons onto a controller) so I can map what buttons I want. But this wont work because H2vista automatically finds my controller and sets buttons on it and as far as I can tell, it wont let me disable my controller... Any way I can do it?

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I've tried everything. It's not possible.

Have you tried Joy2Key or using an alternative driver like xbcd?

joy2jey is the same thing as xpadder so that doesn't help. And switching drivers doesn't work either... I'll just buy a generic controller or something.

Did you even try XBCD? It lets you change keymappings at the driver level, something that Halo 2 Vista can't bypass.
