indeed you did. ur dad was cool. i still have the licences plate cover lol. also ian and i still have those gamestop traffic cones :) people kept asking us if they could have them. how many people can say they stole those things. :) and it was good meeting in person :)

That post... you lost me.

So, is it against the rules to not have a signature now?

~FlipTaco
No one is forcing you to have a signature. So no it's not against the rules to not have a signature.

Wait, wait, wait. Does having more than one signature count as spam?

  • 06.30.2010 10:04 PM PDT

I don't consider it spam at all, unless of course, it directly offends someone or something.

Yes, I know, and that's the point. He probably understood that fully but all I understand is that you have a license plate cover and stole some traffic cones from Gamestop. That sounds just a tad silly :P

Counting signatures as spam is silly. It's a small part of a post found at the very end that you could just easily over look. So long as the post is on topic and not spam, then a little signature is fine.

This should be counted as spam. It's detrimental to the community. Thank God the community forum is here to discuss these pressing issues we face in today's Internet forums.

We believe that the universe is unbounded: this is not the same as infinite: the 2-D surface of a sphere, wrapped around a 3rd dimension, has a finite size, but has no end. If you start off in a given direction on the surface of a sphere, you could return to your start point without having to turn around -- you simply go all the way around. But wouldn't that mean the universe has an escape velocity like the earth?

Why should we lose the right of authentication using signatures. It is not a form of Spam, it does not shake foundations, and great bungie members of the past have used signatures to authenticate themselves.

We should indeed focus on other issues, like this so called 4chan attack coming to our shores.

Forever Forgers

Live and let live.

I think sigs are good, because i often browse bnet on my iphone, and when i zoom in on the text the avatar is outside of the screen. I dont look much at the names and sometimes i actually get unsure who posted what and has to go back in the thread to check. An identifier below the text is easier to see (dunno why i keep missing the name above the text).

That's sad, even for you.

On the list of things that annoy me, adding a signature at the bottom of one's post is way down on the list. Above adding a signature: Using "could care less" when you mean "couldn't care less", calling something ironic when it's actually just a coincidence, and True Underdog.

Yeah, I went there.

Agreed it seems like you have found this tiny inconvenience that complain about just for the sake of it.

I honestly believe a little "-sig" at the end of a post could be so annoying that you couldn't just ignore it.

Since when did people start wanting more rules and regulations?
