Lol, you're not going to headshoot every enemy. I didn't mean that.
Posted by: Grumpy1Mythic is on so you're not going to be able to take many hits and kill them at the same time and with Angry on they are all firing faster at you and with Famine on you have less ammo and on top of that you must go melee them for health. Plus they are all invisible thanks to Assassins skull and Catch is on so the Grunts and Brutes sling plasma nades at you like machine guns and Blind is on so you don't know where enemy's are, you don't know how many or which grenade you've got nor do you know how much ammo is left from an already depleted weapon. To me, it was brutal.Blind skull would make it impossible, but how about with Blind turned off?
Also, the Armory skull only works if they saw you. If they haven't seen you, then they won't always be facing you. And although the Elites won't turn around when meleed, they will when you melee them while they are in their melee animation.
Posted by: Grumpy1SLASO is not about a few small parts not being a problem, it's about beating the whole game straight through, that's the problemWell I think it's doable on Metropolis if Blind hasn't been retrieved.
You can easily take care of the Ghosts with the Scorpion (Sputnik will make it so that you can send them flying off the bridge), and also the Wraith (by shooting at it from far away), but as soon as the Banshees and Phantoms come in, you're dead.
Sure, you could try the Warthog and go all the way to the tunnel, but it is impossible to get through the tunnel with the Warthog.
But if you hide like this, you can hijack one of those Banshees. Maybe you could do it with the other one, although that might not be possible. Obviously, you want to keep the Scorpion intact so you can easily eliminate the Ghosts and use the tank later.
I brought marines with me so they could cause the Banshees to swoop in close but that might not be necessary and will probably result in the Scorpion being destroyed.
Then you go towards the tunnel in the Banshee, preventing the Ghosts, Wraiths, and Banshees from appearing. Then go into the tunnel, headshot the Grunts, leave the Elite alone; he will be distracted when he gets near the Warthog, so he can be assassinated. Headshot the three Jackals. If you want to save BR ammo, just use plasma pistol bolts. Then get both the Ghost (make sure that one is intact) and Scorpion and bring them into the tunnel.
There are two Elites and several Grunts at the next part. The Grunts can easily be killed with the Ghost's bolts if it hits them in the head, but the two Elites are challenging, because they seek cover.
After somehow taking down the Elites, you can bring the Scorpion past the barrier and take out the Jackal Sniper.
Now this is where it got tough for me.
First, you have to go forward to trigger the nearby Jackal sniper, stealth Elites, ultra Elites, Grunts, and Jackals. They aren't already there. Going forward on foot might be the best option.
Second, the Ultra Elites, Grunts, and Jackals seem to endlessly spawn after the previous Covie group is killed. After eliminating all but one Elite, I think you have to go up to him and assassinate to stop more from spawning. Then comes the Zealot, who you can easily defeat with the tank. As for the Stealth Elites, I think a plasma grenade stick should be sufficient.
This part is probably going to be the most time consuming part, as there doesn't seem to be a way to bypass the Covies stationed here.
For the next area, you can kill the Jackal Snipers with the Ghost's bolts (by aiming at their head), but according to Halopedia, the Jackal Snipers infinitely spawn (on Vista, up to 10 will spawn).
Because of Sputnik, your Ghost will easily flip from enemy plasma bolts, so it might be best to go around rather than a direct approach.
And for this area, if you can hijack the Wraith in the previous area, then this part should be easy.
I got intercepted by the Ghosts before I could seek cover but you could probably position the Wraith so that you can hide behind it. Jackal snipers are easily killed with a frag grenade explosion.
If you can't get the Wraith from the previous area, it might be difficult to get past this, since even if you do hijack one of the Wraiths, it takes time for it's movement and boost to start up and you got another Wraith shooting at you and the Wraith mortar's range of damage is quite big. It might be a better idea to shoot at the Wraiths from far away with the Gauss Warthog. It takes about 9 rockets from the Rocket Launcher to destroy one on Mythic.
But you only need to eliminate one Wraith in this area for the Pelicans to arrive, after which you can get far away from the battle until the waypoint shows up and the doors open, and the Wraiths and Ghosts will disappear (if you're not facing their direction).
Finally, for the Scarab boarding part, try this out, but bring a plasma pistol. Two overcharges will take down their shields after which you can take them out with shots to their head. Sneaking down the ramp that leads to the control room without being seen might be difficult though.
Also, I haven't tested this out, but I think it's possible to kill a Ultra Elite with only two overcharges. After all, the second one will lower his shield and because of Grunt Birthday Party and the placement of their heads, this will easily kill them.
