Additional notes from author (all typos are his)
I have something very important to tell you all. There are som errors in the information section.

1. Of course, I know that Joseph Staten makes the voice of the Grunts. I am sorry that I wrote Jason Jones. I always mix up these two people. I am sorry Mr. Staten.
When I thought about I realised that it is probably Joseph that says "...the ultimate anti-son-of-a--blam!--stick..." to. Once again I appology for the error.

2. The ammunition in the M7 Submachine Gun is not 9mm. It is 5x23mm. I appology for this to.

Instructions

Similar to the instructions in the original torrent description, all you need to do is double-click the first archive and unpack it somewhere (make sure all the rar files are in the same directory when you do so). Then, just mount the extracted ISO with something like Daemon Tools or burn it to DVD and watch it on your DVD player.

The MD5 hash for the ISO (TRUTH.ISO) is 49468ae0e5abcba5acb7d33a1b89b8ff and was generated using MD5sums 1.2 freeware for Win9x/ME/NT/2000/XP+
Copyright (C) 2001-2005 Jem Berkes - http://www.pc-tools.net/
. Referenced in case you needed an MD5 utility for Windows.

Also note that this DVD came out less than a year after Halo 2's release, so it may not have every trick, give it a chance and don't judge it by today's standards. Keep in mind that this was the best compilation available at the time as Youtube etc. were practically off the radar. The only sites that hosted Halo videos were PutFile and Mythica, and they were quite limited.

For me it still has the best Skull guide. Enjoy and keep this alive.

My antivirus software says I was just attacked by a Malicious Toolkit Variant from Mediafire.com. Mediafire.com is where these files originated. Please explain. I'm still downloading, by the way, with no further problems. I assume you'd be crazy to give us a bogus site here on the Bungie forum.

Edit: I hope this is worth it for old tricks. The reason I'm downloading these is because I come from a site called highimpacthalo.org and frankly we considered ourselves the best of the best of trickers so it will be interesting. We were in the Halo 3 credits.

Just some our accomplishments:
1. Got the Outskirts Scarab gun in single player from inside the tunnel. Not the one from on top of the tunnel at the water map, the one directly from the Scarab where it spawns during regular game play.
2. Launched a Spectre in coop from the Quarantine Zone Gondola entrance map to the moving Gondola and then took it to the Index Chamber map. The launch had to go through a loading zone, past the barrier to the tunnel canyon map and through the Gondola cutscene in order to land on the Gondola.
3. Launched to the top of the MAC gun in single player from Armory and Cairo Station.
4. Launched over to the In Amber Clad in coop on High Charity (it's not solid by the way).
5. Launched up to the top of every tower in Gravemind as well as getting to the bottom.
6. Found and sword flew into the 'Space Hole' in Great Journey.
7. Made a 220 Ghost collection on QZ and it overloaded the Index map cutscene to a point where the barrier dropped. Then we got down to the bottom of the Index Chamber.
8. Took every vehicle as well as 2 Hunters, Sarge and 2 Marines up to see REX on Great Journey.
9. We learned how to hump-launch Wraiths and also got a Wraith inside a spawning Scarab on Metropolis.
10. Cloned 200 Sarge's on Great Journey.
11. Discovered a portal that allowed us to get both a Pelican and a Phantom into the OS IWHBYD fight.
12. Launched every vehicle on QZ up to the Sentinel walls.
13. Launched a player on QZ in coop over to the Human Gondola (not at the end).

Those are the best top thirteen I can think of but there are many more. The minor tricks and glitches probably number over a 1,000.

So, like I said, I'm interested to see what you have to offer.

That's a false positive. Mediafire is trusted by PCWorld, CNET, Lifehacker, USA Today and TechCrunch, and I checked the files before uploading, they are clean. It also comes up clean with Mcafee SiteAdvisor.

As for HighImpactHalo, I remember the site as I used to visit it frequently back when everybody was discovering glitches/jumps etc. in Halo 2. I also remember Ducain.org and the whole transition and the logo change etc. (fuzzy memories)

I also remember somebody who managed to get to the top of the MAC Cannon on co-op, amongst other things, but I can't remember their name, I think it was Frogblast but I'm not sure. They had a minimalist website and some interesting stuff related to the colour of the particles in the vent core in Combat Evolved (the ones where you throw grenades into to blow the Autumn), perhaps you know of their name?

Seeing as you're a die-hard trickster, this DVD may be of some use to you as an archive of sorts, however it seems as though you and HIH have pretty much done everything possible in Halo 2, until you find something new.

Yeah, it was a false positive and I kept downloading with no ill effects. I hope others will go ahead and download because there should be some really good stuff in there.

Yeah, frogblast swordclimbed up to the top of the MAC in coop. Later, dantheman87 launched himself up in single player. He gathered nades along the way with a box for the launch. He discovered that nades will stick to boxes if you kill enemies up higher and drop them down, then you could push the box to the next area to gather more.

Then a pal named SRL learned how to pressure launch out of Armory to the MAC top. Insane stuff.

I came along at the start of H2 so I'm not a CE trickster but several names you might remember are; Dark Helmet, Ms Man, goatrope and KORHAL (to name a few). They were friends of mine but they didn't spend as much time (well, KORHAL did) on H2 as I. Good times in those days, you caught me at a time when I'm redoing my H2 archive so all the old memories are fresh.

CE is still getting tricked, after all these years.

Again, I recommend the topic download to anyone who wants to wax nostalgic about H2 so thanks for posting it. Also, there's a lot more in those downloads than just tips for tricks, a lot more. It's good H2 stuff.

Anybody watched it yet?

This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Ghost, thank you for this fine treat.

I still think some of the high impact halo tricks were more extreme, but this is worth a watch for any hardcore H2 fan if you have the time.

R.I.P: Midship's floating Swingy Table.
You will be missed...

Wow, HIH pulled off some crazy -blam!-. I remember the days when I'd find and screw around with minor glitches, like the one on Cairo Station where you'd jump into the MAC loader, and it would crush you, then drop your body down to the cutscene hangar.

On that same mission I recall one of the best times I had walking around outside the station... I found a way right on top of that, and I was proud. A relative of mine once stated "yano what Halo 2 is... glitchy goodness." I have ever since completely agreed with that statement.

Cool. This will be fun to check out, at least for nostalgia's sake.

I used to frequent HIH too ;)
