Byrum is right, the counters aren't to be taken seriously and they don't apply to everyone

actually I said they DO apply to everyone...because they're so generic.

But, yeah. Don't take hardly anything on that site seriously. It's purely for entertainment.
The guy only does the site because a friend said he should. there's no adverising, and the only money the guy makes off it is from the bumper stickers he sells there (and even that, only recently).

Then why are they so angry when they talk about God?

I once heard this quote by an Atheist, "I don't believe in God, and I hate Him."
or, "I hate God and I don't believe in Him."

yeah. I know. It's circular logic.

I don't know. Maybe they're jealous about others having something to work towards, and having everything figured out.

However, religion is fed to you. How can you be sure of who and what God is, while it's gone through 2000 years of retelling and translations? We just believe because our parents did.

But yeah, this is probably going to get locked.

I believe because I have faith. And, because believing that I'm here because some rocks Evolved, and 200 million years later *poof* here I am! is way harder for me.

Yes, but where did that faith come from? What kind of faith would you have, were both your parents Bhuddist (just an example) and you went to a Bhuddist school? And I can perfectly see how everything evolved from one celled organisms, into sentient life. There is a lot of evidence of evolution, we experience it now. What of all those ape/human creatures, that eventually developed into sentient life? The only major problem is, how did it start? And that is where many people place Creation.

As for me, I don't exactly know. I believe in evolution, there is much evidence, and who knows, maybe evolution is God's way of creating life. He works in mysterious ways, so they say. So maybe, He gave the spark of life, and let evolution go from there?

I just read his stand on illegal immigrants and have come to this conclusion- How do we force companies to pay the same wages to illegal immigrants if they are here ILLEGALLY!?! Is the government supposed to say, "Hey, that illegal immigrant should be getting paid more! I know he doesn't pay taxes and was probably smuggled here in a big truck but he diserves as much rights as a natural born citizen or and immigrant who went through all the work to get their citizenship the right way." If someone really wants to be in America, they should go through the process of getting their greencard so they can have rights and not be treated the way they are.

He also sells shirts. I think I will get the "For every animal you don't eat I'm going to eat three." one. If those aren't his real oppinions than thats cool, because it means once again there is no one in the world who thinks like me (though maddox doesn't always have the same views as me).

Oh and I meant the first part of the statement was from you, not the second part about the counters not applying to everyone.

Actually, yes they should say that.

Hey, stickman! speak up! no proof huh?

Well, mine either. both theories are based on faith. I believe it take less faith to believe creation than to believe evolution.

Both of my grandparents (mother's and father's side) were and are (respectively) immigrants. They went throught the whole legalization process to become a citizen of the United States. Why should someone who snuck in here illegally without going through all of that get the same rights as them. They did not earn their citizenship and should be deported to their own country until they can become a citizen the legal way. If they are just given rights without becoming a citizen then what is the point of being an American citizen? Why do we even have citizenship then? Why not everybody that comes to America is automatically a citizen? How would you feel then?

Please don't bring religion into this. Religious discussions are not allowed.

And thanks Spartan 712. I drew it myself. My artistic ability is limited to stickman drawn in paint. I am rather proud of my SPNKr, though.

Well, for the most part, yeah. There's an exception to every rule though.

Every been to Colorado?

The population is like this:

80% Mexican
12% Caucasian
8% other/s

seriously, it's rediculous.

There's maybe 10 Mexicans here that are legal (I'm guessing), and those are the only ones who know English.

For the record- I have nothing against Mexicans. I'm just stating a fact.

No, there isn't an exception to every rule. And if there is one to the no religious discussion rule, creation vs. evolution certainly isn't it.

How was I to know you stopped? And its no big deal. The "Back off" part gave me the impression that you are angry at me. For what I am not sure. I just don't want this to turn into a mindless arguement over religion that would get this topic locked.

I was wondering the same thing. It seems the only person who can have a thread about them is ObbiQuiet. Now watch as this gets locked! Hillarity probably won't ensue.
