I played the campaign through on Heroic and Legendary while trying to find as many audio logs as I could. After I beat it, I played Mombasa Streets to try to find the rest of them. After spending several hours of play time searching, I gave up and found a FAQ on the internet. I searched the spots it told me to, but I didn't find any. I'm stuck at seventeen and can't get anymore. Is my game glitching or am I doing something wrong?

I'm not sure if this helps but have you tried looking for audio logs relatively close to the last one you picked up, or behind hidden(ish) doors that lead to areas containing logs and engineers?

Yeah, I've searched high and low and all around where the FAQs pointed out. I found where they should be (computers, phones, ect.) but the thing isn't highlighted like they are when they have an audio log. Nothing is there. I even played co-op with another profile that hadn't played ODST in case that would help, but I still got nothing.

Either they might be time related(doubt it), they could appear in a random order(this is what happened to me on some occasions), or mabye it did glitch up like you said.
Keep trying though because from my experience one audiolog will unlock another(even if its been in a place you've already checked). So good luck and pray its not a glitch.

Use a proper map as to the location of the logs.

Also, when you are close to one, the signs and billboards tell you roughly what direction they are.

Google = your friend

I know that Virgil usually helps you find them by telling you to cross the street and stuff like that, but it wasn't doing anything. Maybe skill level has something do do with it? I was playing on heroic, but I'll try legendary or maybe mythic.

I used Google to find several maps and they all said the same spots.

Go to achievement hunters on youtube and watch their videos of the locations. What I did was watch maybe 3 locations, then went to those locations. Watch, explore, repeat. Also I noticed that areas where cars are going off and their lights are flashing means you're in the area of an audio log. That helped me find the 29th one.

I have this same problem. I tried all kinds of maps and still found nothing. I've even started over on other difficulties and the logs don't ring or flash on any of the locations from all the maps Ive found matching or not. I'm riding around on a goose now to different logs and they're all snowy.

wth?

Every new day is a gift, it's a song of redemption.

You might have to go through and do the campaign over again.
I know certain sets of Audio Logs unlock only after you've beat a few of the missions.
So I'd say go through and beat all of them up until Data Hive, find yourself a Mongoose, and cruise the town to find them all.
Difficulty has nothing to do with it. I'd recommend doing it on Easy because it takes a long time and getting killed can really screw up the flow.
Hope this helps dude.
