dude, you pulled a jesus!

Is there a certain age-standard for moderators chosen? Like no one below 20 or something?

Also I noticed that mods weren't in any groups but HFCS and 1 or 2 other groups made by other mods. Do you have do quit from your other groups when you become a mod?

Am I the only one who wonders about these kind of things?

I wonder these things all the time.

If all those are requirements, then I'm last in line for mod position.

I'm really not sure about age requirements, but I do happen to know that they do not have to quit all the other groups they are in. They are free to join any group they wish. The group you referred to as "HFCL" is actually "HFCS", just to let you know. ;)

sorry for the misspelling. I was working off of memory (which sucks). The only reason I ask the group thing is that I don't see mods in very many groups, and the ones I see are in mostly mod-made groups.

Don't worry about it. It happens to me every once in a while. At least you spelled "misspelling" correctly. A lot of people can't seem to nab that second 's'. Back on topic, though... :)

I believe most, if not all of them are over 17.

I'll be on my own side.

i doubt Bungie cares about age or anything like that. what they focus on is you as a member of their community; how you post, do you flame or spam, things like that. and i doubt they would make you leave your groups. You're still a member of the community, mod or not.

I see your point with the age thing, but I don't think they would pick, say a 16 year old, no matter how the post. People that age tend to less trustworthy. That and they are still in school.

You think? Why not search for some cold-hard facts instead of guessing?

Anyways, if Moderators had to quit the chapters they were in; I'd go to GJJ's house and break every single game, and system he owned.

He's got how many systems and games? It'd take you quite some time to get through them all. I'm talking days, maybe even weeks.

Yea, it's based on maturity and professionalism I would guess, not age. though I do not think they would make a 13 year old a mod. Also they do not have to quit out of there other chapters, infact I don't know how you arrived to think that, as most of them are apart of other chapters, though not a lot. This is probably because of the lack of good and unique chapters, and most good chapters happen to be made by other mods(I wonder how that happened?).

I'm 15. And I think (was it Sigma, I'm not sure) was 14 when he was chosen.

. . . .Lucky. . . .

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I'm 16 myself, and I'm out of school.

Mods are kind of like the police on B.net. Make small talk from time to time, but really exsist to keep the forums running smooth. If mods "hung out" with everyone, I personally think it would taint thier jobs, so being exclusive is not an attempt of "being cool", it's a required evil. That's probably why they are only in a few groups amung themselves.

I think hes a bit older, I haven't spoken with him in a long time, but with how serious he was about school and other things(including the way he acted), he just didn't seem to that young. But then again you act mature and your only 15, so I shouldn't judge by age. I'm not that much older any ways, 18 in october.

Meh, I never go to chapters anymore (ehem, I mean "groups"), even though I'm still in a few... or maybe I'm not, I don't remember, some one wanna check for me?

Age never mattered, it's always based on maturity, and it just so happens that older people are usually more mature. But some of the younger ones would meet the mod standard in my opinion. I bet if Tanikaze were still around, he'd be a mod as well, and he's 14.

Ya know Puma, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is out there somewhere...
