No. I am saying COD is better because of the individual ranking system, killcams, and the fact that quitters are replaced by fresh players. It is in no way the best FPS out there, don't put words in my mouth. I am only saying it has clear advantages over Halo.

CoD is horrible, and here is why.

The OP is a troll.... and a CoD fanboy.

If the OP sees this video and doesn't say anything about it, he's either a CoD fanboy in the bungie forums or just stupid.

I liked the gamertag in that video at 5:07

3. Teamwork or not it is not fair when I worked my ass off for my team and still get the same amount of experience points and little if any change in TrueSkill rank.

I think that's why they call it "teamwork". You are striving for an ultimate goal with your team to to win. Just because you got the most kills, doesn't mean you deserve something more. If you don't like how the XP and ranking system works with teams in Halo 3, you could always play Lone Wolves and be your own team.

Killcams do destroy the game play. Too many times have I sniped a guy from halfway across the map, only to have the player shown exactly where I am.

Fan boys of "realism" FPS games obviously don't realize that there isn't a killcam in real life. I personally would rather hunt down the person that killed me instead of being shown exactly where he is.

iWhiteTeam

Okay well both games do have problems... But as to skill Halo takes more skill and teamwork definitely...

Since I'm not going to waste my time on this whole whatever you call this not even an argument more like a roast on CoD Mw2.

Okay comparison for skill okayyyy keep up not hard,

Call of Duty(Any CoD)=Halo 3(Team Swat)
I've gone positive 40 and higher on Call of Duty due to the fact that it takes no skill all you have to do is FAMAS people in one shot or UMP45 ppl or I rlly dont wanna continue cuz ths is boring... In Halo there are boosters and s**t that does ruin it but once you get that good and your with good friends you will tear boosters up. and 10th prestige kids suck... Like rlly new account boosters and -blam!- are 100x better than any call of duty players i think im ranting now f**k this...

Halo's multiplayer sucks. You read correctly. There is a reason why CoD:MW2 beats it so bad in terms of players.

i think thats cause MW2 is newer and the over hype about it

1. Quitters. In Halo when a teammate quits or backs out you are majorly disadvantaged. In Call of Duty, that missing teammate is quickly replaced by a new player and fairness returns to the game. People are going to quit, whether it be from lag or otherwise, and Bungie should have accounted for it.

Completley agree, since Reach is ranking based on how you do with credits, why can't you join games in progress? At least game not in Arena?

Posted by: RFG 123
3. Ranking system and experience. In Halo, you gain experience points by winning games, regardless of how well you do in the game. If I get 30 kills and 2 deaths and my team wins, I still get the same amount of experience as I would if I died 20 times and got 5 kills and my team still won. There is no individual reward system outside of FFA matches.

Yea its definatley the easiest, but I think an exp system based on how YOU do with winning as a bonus is the way to go
Posted by: RFG 123
4. No way to know how you died. In Halo, the only time you can figure out "WTF?" deaths is to visit the theater after the game. In COD, you get a live replay of how you were killed and by what weapon.

Couldn't agree anymore

"We are just throwing science at the wall and seeing what sticks"

2. Halo's maps are all designed to look good rather than designed for functionality. In Call of Duty, each map is designed around a specific weapon set, and the game flows much better because of it.

so noobtubes+OMA+danger close, commando+LW+marathon+pistol /w knife makes the game flow much better?

yeah -blam!- right.

the fact you get killed everytime you spwan isnt pissy as it is, you got peeps who kill you with out a chance to defend yourself is even more fustrateing.

and what piss me off even more about MW2 is that you only get an enjoyable game if you get a 40+ k/d and a nuke.

you sir are trolling and/or the biggest of idiot since the dawn of man.

okay, how about this: from what i just read here, both halo and codmw BOTH sucks.
1.they both have boosters and cheaters,
2. they both spawn you in places where ur gonna get killed in seconds anyway,
3.they both have too many "good" players who'd rather roll with other "good" players instead of trying to help a "sucky" player get better, just like school, elementary, middle, and high. there's always 3 sides: real good (popular) amateur (suck-ups) and the sucky/annoying (geeks, emos, and other solo losers)

4. on both they're mostly the same people either being an ass (bullies and jerks), annoying, a show-off-just-cause-they're-good or just silent. only very few people who's really good would help out and train the sucky players in becoming better with zen-like tolerance, henceforth being the REAL heroes, role models, true generals of the game.

5. they both have kids and underage teens on there, who's NOT supposed to be playing these games in the first place.

6. if it takes no skill to rank up (besides boosting and buying premade accounts being the main reason why) then why are there still players, (like me, i'm not gonna lie here) who played -blam!-loads of games online and still can't rank up to general? it's not like they INTENDED to lose EVERY game they played. yeah, if it was easy, -blam!-, I would be general right now. without the cheating -blam!-, just straight up playing it all the way. and i'd never played a cod game, but i'm sure i would suck at that as well, due to -blam!-s pretending to be rookies. but then again..f**k now i'm ranting.

and the "that's cause you just suck" response i'm sure ur gonna post at me just prove my points right. especially the "-blam!-s gamers" part. go head, prove me right and post it. let everyone know who's the real jerk who help ruin games like this. or try to counter-argue my points. you'll still proving me right, regardless of what you say. cause y'all can't rest till u get the last word, ain't that right?

or you can just not respond, let it rest, and move on. with ur remaining dignity from ur last arguments.
either way, it's truth.

Hates to love and loves to hate.

Look at all the Halo fan boys, this is exactly what happens when you bring them to the reality of how bad Halo: Reach is.While I strongly disagree with the OP, I congratulate you for even trying to reason with blind fan boys with no other mission besides defend Bungie, whether it makes sense or not.

Talking sense into a bunch of <49 people is like talking to to a bunch of bricks.

Halo's multiplayer sucks. You read correctly. There is a reason why CoD:MW2 beats it so bad in terms of players. I have played Halo since the original CE days, and after trying to return to the game I realize that multiplayer sucks.

Here is why;

1. Quitters. In Halo when a teammate quits or backs out you are majorly disadvantaged. In Call of Duty, that missing teammate is quickly replaced by a new player and fairness returns to the game. I would go on, but this is already getting longer than I wanted. Halo does have advantages, the biggest one is drivable vehicles. And of course Forge mode.[/quot

ummm... no. I played Call of Duty, 1) spawns are terrible, I'm able to spawn kill left and right becuz of sitting in one spot and looking at two different areas of the map. 2) maps promote camping, every player on CoD just camp it up with their secondary shotguns. maps do not promote any kind of specific weapons set or game flow, its just terrible, everyone just spawn kills.

yea, ur a 50, whoopie. yea, i'm mad cuz i suck at halo 3, hear it all the time, don't care anymore. not trying to be an smart ass, but bragging doesn't require skill, so anyone can do it. but since ur soooo smart and soooo skilled at it, why not try to do what black belts in karate do, become a sensei and teach others how to be as good at it as you are (not how to be like you, that's just douche-baggish, lol). then, if ur successful, they will be generals, telling others, "yeah, i was taught by mr snak, a great general, how to play better at this. so if you need help becoming better, he's the one to go to." henceforth spreading ur fame and knowledge of you.

or would you rather just go around going, "i'm a general and you suck", and having people dislike you cause all you care about is winning and yourself?

talk it, walk it, teach it. the way of the master.

In the 3 years I have played [excessive] Halo, I have NEVER been spawn killed. In the six months of MW2, I estimate close to 500, in all seriousness. Just sayin...

  • 08.26.2010 3:39 PM PDT

Halo is called halo because halos are round and I like round things. Halos are round so I like halos because they are round. Kinda random...
