Ok first off, I'm not helping anyone right now unless I've posted on your topic so please don't message me asking. This topic is for players who have completed the achievement and would like to share some tips on how to do it.

For an Example:
My friends and I used the map Alpha Site, I know to seems kind of close quarters but it won't be if you do it right. Here's what we did..

Stay on the staircase to the west of the map, there are 3 extremely important roles that players need to do. One player should stay on the staircase with a sniper rifle. His/Her job is shoot enemy brutes at the far east of the staircase. A second player is in charge of the plasma pistol. Their job is to take out the brutes' armor with an over-charged shot. Now it is best that you collect the plasma pistol at the first wave of the round and always have a fullish battery. Now the third player is important to the role of the second. It's their job to shoot the brutes in the head with a magnum as soon as they're hit with the plasma shot. The fourth player should be in charge of the rocket launcher. It's their job to take out hunters and chieftens.

NEED TO KNOW INFORMATION:
In order to get this achievement you must BEAT the 4th set. Not get to it. It is extremely important that you make it to set5 before you quit. Now, once you've made passed the 4th set play through the bonus round. Right after that, your achievement should pop up. At that point it is safe to quit.

EXTRA TIPS:
When the buggers come, everyone take cover at the top of the staircase. Take them out with short bursts to conserve ammo.

Taking down a chieften can be extremely tough work. But you can do it quick and fast if you do it right. Hit the chieften with an over-charged plasma shot. As soon as he is staggered, shoot off his helmet with a magnum and following that with a second shot that should end his wretched life. Simple as that.

Be careful when making ammo/health runs. Have a buddy cover you but don't get owned by a lucky grenade throw.

I hope this was useful. If you've completed the achievement before why not give some extra tips that I might have left out.

On top of that, my friends and I came up with short nicknames for the covenant.

Grunts - Naggers
Brutes - Monkeys
Jackels - Chickens

And nicknames for certant type of enemy refered to what they have or what they are doing.

Jackel with over-charged plasma pistol:
Angry Chicken
Grunt goin' suicide:
Angry Nagger
Invisible brutes:
Ninja Monkeys
Brute Chieftens:
Angry Monkey
Brute with gravity hammer:
Hammer

And last but not least. Terms for situations:
Hunters:
You didn't pay the rent.
Buggers:
Call the exterminator

If you have any cool nicknames why not share them?

Join The Spartan I Project Today!

SIP is here to help you achieve a 1750 gamer score, unlocking all of the armor permutations for both Spartans and Elites.

Pretty good guide. After 150 successful runs on Alpha Site, I think I can add a few things.

Split up. 2 people to either staircase. Work as doubles instead of all for people bunched up on one side with each person having a specific duty.

Chieftains: A plasma burst & a rocket to the face is IMO more effective than the sniper. Especially with the hammers. One too many shots can cause them to go invincible & then they're just a pain. The plasma/rocket combo is good thru the 3rd set. Once Mythic comes on, try this technique.

The center elevator is a "no despawn zone". Weapons that get dropped in there, will not disappear. Use it as a storage spot for extra rockets, fuel rods, hammers, plasmas, etc.

Hunters: Save rockets/fuel rods for Chieftains/bonus rounds. 2 well placed sniper rounds in a Hunter's back will take them down easy enough. It takes about 4-6 during Set 4.
