I was playing the Truth and Reconcilliation and decided to hide behind a box and let the marines kill everything. They ended up getting owned but I found something cool. When I came out from behind the box to kill what was left, I found an elite sitting on the dropship that's in the shuttle bay. I don't know how he got there since I wasn't watching.

Have any random cool things like that happened to you?

On the Silent Cartographer level, At the part where The Chief walks up to the ledge and kicks what appears to be a rock over the edge, I jumped off (Hey it looked cool down there!). When I landed I spun the camera around and saw two more dead bodies that appeared to be either the Flood or Marines. The weird thing was that I had NO idea how they got there! It was pretty memorable.:)

1. AotCR a needler that was suspended about a meter above the floor on one of the bridges. I could shoot it with the pistol and make it s[in like a top. Ran through my entire load of ammo watching it spin around.
2. T&R the second battle I knocked a shade off the ledge and then climbed on top of the barrel to see the ledge above me. I'm standing there and hear a grunt muttering to himself and running towards me. I watch him ignore me and then jump into the gunner's seat with me standing on the end of the barrel.
3. Got the left front tire of the warthog jammed into the security rrom door on SC just before it closed. I couldn't go forward or reverse so I got out and tried to melee the front tire out of the doors. Somehow the animation pushed me inside the doors and I slowly turned around expecting for glodilocks to cut me in half with her energy sword. She just stood there. I slipped past her and whacked her in the back of the head.

Something smells fishy...

Wait. So Goldilocks was there? Or did you mean to say:
"I slowly turned around expecting for an Elite to cut me in half with its energy sword. An Elite was there but it just stood still. I slipped past it and whacked it in the back of the head."

I don't see how it was possible for you to see Goldilocks. Unless you saw a gold colored elite which you (for some reason) might refer to as Goldilocks.

My introduction to Halo was playing this game on co-op Legendary a million summers ago with my old friend Gil. It was the first FPS I'd ever played (or even seen), first XBox game, first console game, basically my first video game that wasn't Pokemon. We got through all of Halo 2 and I think all of CE too, but I'm not sure about that last bit.

We were doing T&R, doing the part at the grav lift, and Gil was trying to sneak up and flank them on the left side as you approach it. He was going past that cliff there, and there was an Elite right there he didn't see. It turned around and saw him, he realized it, and it was just about to alert the rest of the guys there when I swong around and nailed it with the sniper right in the side of the head. Gil was just sitting there for a couple seconds in shock, but I saved him from getting spotted and alerting the whole group. Keep in mind this was the first time I'd ever played an FPS, and this was CE Legendary. From then on, it was my job to stealth kill that Elite during that checkpoint.

I played a bit more the other day and had a random loading error on Assault on the Control Room which caused all jackal shields to lose their color. They were still there but they were grey no matter what. Too bad it ended after I left the room and went through another loading screen.
