Subject: HALO 2 for Vista: Help with connection to Bungie.net

I got Halo 2 for my PC. Ive been playing online a bit and I wanted to check my statistics. But when I went on Bungie.net I realized that my game was not connected- it even said that I had no history of playing it. Please help me with this.

also- when you are connected online is it possible to download map variants and game variants? If so, then is it the same way to download them as it is in Halo 3?

Thanks.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Bungie doesn't track stats for H2V. Nor does a linked gamertag show in the lobby.

If you join a game that uses a custom map, it will auto-download if the players are still waiting in the lobby. If the game is already in progress, you have to download the map yourself from a friend or web site. My favorite site for Halo/Halo 2 PC maps is http://www.halomaps.org. I don't play H2V much at all anymore because of too many problems.

Halo 2 Vista wasn't produced with Halo 3 in mind.
There are no "map variants", just "custom maps".

Also, this game is Dead Before Birth.

Alright thanks for everything, but where can I check my stats in the game?

Also if I do download the maps from that site will they just appear in my game or do I need to do stuff first. Thanks.

lol they care more about halo 1 pc
Now they don't.
Halo 1 is passed it's support lifecycle.

Some servers like monstrmoose servers can track stats, but note they are not accurate.

Since the idiots called HiredGun suck at imitating Bungie's Halo 2 Xbox stats.

This is the average H2 Fanboy.
Xfire: JacobGRocks.
50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

1. Postgame carnage report.
2. You need to place them in the My Documents/My games/Halo 2/Maps folder.

Think of Halo 2 Vista's stat-tracking as "off the record". The only way you can view your stats for a game is in the Post-Game Carnage Report. If the post-game report is no longer available (eg, you closed-down H2V or started another game), the stats will no longer be available.
