Subject: Halo 2 Glitch/Easter Egg?

I am posting this here not really sure if it is a Bungie Easter egg or some sort of glitch. A while ago me and my friend started playing Halo 2's campaign and we noticed something. In the level Metropolis he saw, in my flashlight beam, a silouhette of two Elites (one behind the other) and a grunt to the side. We were pretty freaked out by it at first and amazed that in the years of Halo 2 we have played we have never seen this before.

Tonight, we started playing again and on the level Delta Halo we ntoiced a very similiar Silhoutte only this time it was of the Arbiter and it did not require either of us to look into the flashlight beam to see it. It was actually on both of screens all the time, the point of the level was in the underwater section just after the underwater elevator. So far thats all we have seen.

I'm curious if anyone has experienced anything like this before or has any answers/speculations? Thankyou and thanks for all the fish.

Define silouhette pertaining to what you saw. Was it a shadow silouette on a wall that went away when you moved away or was it more like 'on the screen' and did that silouhette stay with you?

H2 has a common emulator problem/glitch whereby a part of the background becomes a 'shadow' on your screen. It could be a building or an AI background that gets imprinted. Quite annoying, could it be that?

I get it a lot on The Great Journey.

I hate that, but I think it is part of the game, or at least an egg.

No, that's definitely a glitch. They aren't specific pictures, it's just whatever your screen was showing when the glitch happened. I've only seen this happen with Xbox 360.

This is the average H2 Fanboy.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

The 360 has other emulator glitches too. It doesn't emulate the sound properly, so when you go outside on the first level, the sound doesn't change like it does on the Xbox original or the PC port.
