Well i was watching the e3 vid for the hundredth time (actually more like one millionth:) and i noticed something. On the part where he says "I am a spartan and max our multiplayer lead is an elite" if you look closely at the elite it is like he runs scross the screen really fast for a second and then slows down to walking. The thing is it was really odd looking for just running so atfirst i thought it might just have been some really small glitch that they missed or something but now that i think about it that might have been him sprinting, i dont think that it was availible at that build but the bungie guys were probably using a special one. If this is stupid or has been brought up before i am sorry. Post your thoughts.

i know but i am saying they havent said anything about it since then. This could just be another confirm of it. And i was getting worried that they might have pulled it out of the game.

i'll keep looking but here is a quote from one of the updates:

Friday, February 6, 2004
The Cananimators have also been working on very subtle transitions between walking, running and sprinting, so that the movements look fluid and natural. More impressive, bizarrely, is the animation for stopping and turning. The trick is going to be finding a balance between its usefulness and playability - which is true of almost any game feature.

NO, he is talking about E3 04 when some guy did a demo of the new rocket launcher, duel wielding, vehicle expolsions, etc. in a multiplayer setting with a Master Chief and an Elite. You can see the vid at gamestop.com

did the elite have his guns out when you saw this? What about when he jumped on the ghost? I was thinking that high jump was from a quick sprint.[/color]
