Here are the culprits. i have been monitoring them for a while and making vids. They always occupy the EU servers like Mr.B was saying, anyway here they are:

ME=(KING)
SARUMANATOR
Punj Wen Ya
Judge
Noobestoob
CPE2531TKS
(-'-)
Yoda[IRL]
Smokie[IRL]
Don't Shoot

There are a couple more, I will check my recs and will add accordingly.

Yoda[IRL], from my experiences, isn't really a tker. He's just a big, whiny, -blam!-!

Back on topic:

The solution to the auto-ban bypass is very simple.

The server just has to monitor and keep track of the # of tks with the player's CDkey hash (similar to the banlist criteria), and save all that info for the whole game, whether the player is there the whole game or not. This should prevent the tk's for a player from being reset when you leave the game. The key is to have the server reset this info after each game, so innocent players don't get banned for total accumulated tk's.

I think this is referred to as "cutting losses". If Microsoft and Bungie ignore Halo PC players long enough, they will probably go away. I figure this is the logic being used to disown a 'product' that doesn't mean instant cash for the companies. I'm willing to bet the ignorance is deliberate and designed to disenchant and eventually dislodge Halo PC players so that resources can (are being) focused on Halo 2, where the money is. This is typical MS customer service. I predict that within the next year, Bungie servers will no longer exist. So, keep your friends close and your enemies closer, because we'll be entirely responsible for keeping Halo PC alive when that time comes. It's too bad Bungie got sucked in by the Microsoft Way. As far as I can tell, they used to be a really great bunch of people. Oh well.

Hmm after reading this thread i think that what im getting from bungie is that they cant do somthing with these servers easily since they dont run them. So we need to start posting on gearbox's forums.

The thing is it seems, as others have said since i have no experience with this, that gearbox is listening even less. And THIS is where bungie comes in. There has to be a way for bungie to contact gearbox, since they will have more say than a lowly consumer, and ask them to improve the ban system of these EU servers.

So all i ask to whoever is listening among the moderators is that you plz somehow get word to someone who has power in gearbox to help us with these servers.

No, we provide them. But they have always been "as-is". No administrator support is available.

Well I would just like to say it is very very nice to get some definitive answers. This is all I and I think many others ever wanted.

The reason there is so much anger and pissed off posts is that we started asking these questions about bungie servers and halo 2 pc and so on, it seems like months and months ago at least.

What confuses me is that I thought the moderators were telling us to contact gearbox since they did the port. But now you are saying bungie does provide these servers?
If so, then please don't send people in circles with hope of getting something accomplished with this game, just tell us that Halo PC is not going to be changed, which Achronos has, so thank you for the answers to our questions.

I remember you, GSUK. You're one of those TKers. You don't deserve to be unbanned.

Heh. I doubt if he'd be able to carry out your request if he can't even understand what you're saying.

just to let you know Mr. B im with your first plan. but i really dont think bungie or anyone who joined in making this game cares about this game anymore, they all have gone on to bigger and better things, we all hate it but i guess we have to deal with it :(

what we are trying to get at is that it would require no work from bungie, gearbox, or micro$oft to control this, us pc gamers are willing to accept responcibility for this kind of job, and i highly doubt any tk'er is on these forums because if they cared about the game they wouldnt tk

hmm...why did I think a few months back that this would be the final outcome? Anyways, look guys. Mr B, Ma5B, this is why I left a few months back. All this forum had become was old men and nostalgia. "Hey remember when Gearbox still released hotfixes?, and when Halo CE came out, now those were the days...." In all seriousness after that whole Halo 2 PC extravaganza and now this...I couldn't stand it. I had learned that after all the banter, after all the complaint, after all the dissapointment; that I COULD actually enjoy Halo PC, and now I do more than ever. All I can say is to find some good servers, stick with them, whether they be Bungie servers or not. Find some good friends to play with, etc. Enjoy the game for what it has...And I think that it has a lot.

After the condition of the Bungie servers became the main topic, all we were doing was trying to get answers to questions we didn't really care about. I hope the issue's finally come to a close now; for the better. Although I'm sure this forum won't be what it used to be, I'll always know that when I go to play some Halo PC, I'll enjoy it. And, sometimes, that's all we can hope for.

Finally was let back into EU servers hurah i hear you all cry. so one week bans in place for tking...... wont be leaving my mate alone with my pc again then ! lesson learned, didnt realise how much you miss the good servers untill your privilege to play on them has been revoked. and if you have been tked by me you deserved it, or it was accidental youll know which ! found a good moded server though had tinkered with the kill ratings of each different weapon, made an interesting change and was good connection ping also, sad i havent been able to find it again lol

i think your best policy mr B is to simply go onto halo with the right frame of mind first and treat people with the curtisy and respect you expect (as im shure you do) and hope that the rest of humanity catches up, Keep the faith if you see me in halo say hi people
