BUNGIE DAY 2010 POEM

-By Jakeysuave

As it all started back before Halo 1,
Bungie thought of three games,
Myth, Oni, and Marathon,
which was almost done.

These three games,
some of Bungie's greatest hits,
not nearly as good as the Halos,
but not quite as bad as -blam!-.

Now Marathon was getting old,
and Myth was becoming new.
Bungie thought this next game would be better,
at least from a birds eye view.

This game took strategy,
new stuff for us,
not a first-person shooter,
not a crazy driven bus.

But when this game was old,
Bungie knew it was time to create.
They jumped on their computers
and Oni was fate.

This game was different,
different from the rest.
The first Bungie game with decent 3D graphics,
it was pure manifest.

Oni was released
in late January of 2001,
later that year would come Halo,
something extremely fun.

At the E3 Convention
Halo was first shown,
people couldn't believe it,
their minds were completely blown.

As the month of November arrived,
the stores were packed.
Gamestop, Walmart, and Target
the clerks were under attack.

Everyone waiting,
camping outside,
waiting for the moment,
the moment to arrive.

The moment arrived and everyone got their games.
They rushed back to their home,
popped it in their Xbox console,
and their lives went up in flames.

The game was so great,
no one could believe.
A combination of Halo and beer made quite a party,
Full of headshots and dry heaves..

A couple years later,
Bungie knew what they had to do.
Halo 2 was being made,
this was definitely something new.

Where Halo 1 ended,
Halo 2 soon began.
Once again people camped stores,
even the most pasty developing a tan.

When this game arrived,
people again were shocked.
It wasn't as good as Halo one,
but it made their brains lock.

The story was amazing,
the multiplayer was huge.
The first Halo game on Xbox Live,
Bungie would always lose.

The game was great,
but we're not over yet.
Halo 3 was on its way,
Halo's end had been met.

The tears and the crys of the fans were loud
As the end of Halo had been heard,
when Halo 3 was released,
the most hardcore of gamers we're lured.

From the East and the West,
to the North and the South, Halo 3 swept people away
deep into the recesses of their couch.

This game was incredible,
best one so far,
although to my personal opinion,
Halo 1 was the greatest of all.

This game made records,
this game was the best,
this game wasn't just a game,
it was a lifestyle, at best.

This game lasted Bungie
for quite a long while,
then in late 2008,
ODST was in file.

When this game was released
In the fall of 2009,
It had a pretty big hit,
but wasn't all mine.

Then there was Reach,
set before Halo 1,
although for some reason,
it looks totally redone.

Some people got mad,
some people got glad,
when the Beta was released,
the servers went bad.

The servers had crashed,
one of the largest Betas of all time,
Reach turned out to be great,
once again,blowing our minds.

Then the Beta was ended,
and here we are now.
Bungie day is arriving,
but how would I show my love, how?

Then I sat down and thought,
"A map, a film clip, and screenshots galore!".
Then unfortunately I realized,
it wasn't the fanciness anymore.

I've been loving Bungie
since way back in Halo 1.
So I thought it would be nice to write them a poem,
expressing my fun.

These almost eleven years
I've been following Bungie have been great,
and I'm happy to wish them
another great Bungie Day fate.

We greatly anticipate Reach
and hope for a potential Halo 4
farewell Bungie and thanks again.
. -Your fans, We want more.

Thanks Bungie. HAPPY BUNGIE DAY!

Check Out my FileShare.
I was once on Bungie Faves. (Feb.7-15)
I'd like to know why I can't see the signatures of others of myself on the forum. I have made favs once, 7777 campaign kills, and I helped bring modders down when they were at their strongest

No, acnboy. Spartain Ken 15 is a lesser being. Much like the bacteria that lives in your shit.
