Lately I've been receiving the same PM multiple times. For instance, somebody will send one message to me, but the same thing appears in my inbox 2-5 times. This is really annoying, especially considering how many PMs i get. Anybody know what the problem is?

It might be for the same reason people double-post sometimes. They might think that it wasn't sent the first time, so they send it again, and again, and again...

If they hit the submit button more than once, you will get the message multiple times, I believe.

That's probably the cause of your troubles. Send an email out to bnetbugs@microsoft anyway. Don't forget to explain...

Banshee: couℓd it be that you have three unread messages ℓurking in the depths of your inbox? For weeks I couℓdn't understand why my Southampton University emaiℓ account indicated I had unread maiℓ, untiℓ I investigated around page twenty of my inbox, to discover a message that must have been sent with a time stamp Massiveℓy in the Past™.

When my college admin informs me that i have no space left in my inbox he doesn't just send one he sends 25 which only adds to the problem. Its an automatic server response but very frustrating none the less.

Ah, yes. Damn. I was testing out a program I wanted to use to automatically convert one or two of my most common spelling mistakes [you know, the ones you just keep on making no matter how much you try to force yourself not to]. I thought I'd play around with it to convert letters and the like to non-standard Latin letters... anyhow, those l's are mistakes. Groovy curvy mistakes, but still...

My friend was sent an e-mail telling him that his inbox was full, but didn't receive it because his inbox was full.

Before you ask how he knew it had been sent, IT Services told him afterwards.

I keep my inbox empty, but that's probably because I'm not very popular.

I keep mine empty. I used to click all of the boxes you know. So, I came here and suggested a check all button. Then, someone told me about the clear all button. It's a great invention. And I couldn't believe I had never noticed it before.

Oh yeah. That was funny. Because I feel like it, I might just go make a group now.

That's usually caused by apostrophes being replaced by psycho geek-language codes for apostrophes. Usually happens in the subject lines of replies saying "Re: I've found out where you live".
