It's been a year, and I'm surprised that I only took the time to notice these now, but they're pretty huge in retrospect because they describe what could be two huge elements of the single player campaign, or rather levels. And I apoligize if you've already noticed these...

The least obvious (so I don't get immediately flamed) is at the end of the video, when the Chief is approaching the bridge on the Ghost, he passed underneath a green sign which says the following:

CITY CENTRE____02 KM
SECTOR A_______04 KM
SECTOR B_______01 KM
DOCKS__________12 KM

Now, obviously these are various places in New Mombasa, the city seen in the demo. We, however, do know that there will be water effects in this game. Could one of them be at the "docks?" It is a possibility and it could make for a very interesting battle, especially if there is a water craft of some sort involved.

The second thing, which is very obvious but I don't know that I have ever paid attention to it, is the manned-turret at the rear of the Pelican as they land. It appears to be capable of firing missles and the standard .50 cal rounds during fly-bys. I figured since we've been confirmed that we won't be able to fly a Pelican, by Frank, don't you think it would make more sense strapping the Chief to the back of it and raining hell down on the Covenant from above? I think it would make for an interesting level...

Docks dont neccesarily have to be by water.

Could be, but we're here for speculation and right now we don't have too much to work with. Since we're probably going to be spending sometime in New Mombasa, like we did with Halo in the original game, I figure something like this, especially since we've been told of the water effects being used in this game is possible. And, like someone said, it could be docks for something other than water, but never-the-less, it could point to another level that follows the one you see played.

Wow, while looking at this sign, I saw something else that I've never seen or mentioned before:

Did anybody see that Brute running on the left side of the screen? At the same time when the 'Docks' sign appears?

I hope to see water craft make it into Halo 2 multiplayer...

Docks could also be in referrence to spacecraft, it is the year 2552 after all.

We've already gone over that point. It's entirely unlikely they're referring to "space docks" since Mombasa is a real place in Kenya, East Africa. It's a coastal town.

I just thought I'd point out that the ghosts, MC first encounters are driven by grunts. Just noticed that.

The aliens will have a more dynamic role in this game. What we apparently saw in a Halo was just a small section of the Covenant's forces. Now we're going to see the real deal, the Grunts can driver Ghosts, the Jackals use plasma rifles and the Elites have an even more powerful weapon...

Notice how I use correct capitalization and punctuations. It's a crazy idea, I know, but try it some time.

Mombasa is a coastal village, it itself was made on the water for a reason. It is incredibly doubtful that the docks being referred to are space docks since there is little need for them in a future without rocket propelled space travel. Other vehicles are used to traverse the Earth's atmosphere, and they can go freely from or to any point on the globe, as seen in the demo to begin with. It's more likely they are referring to what I originally stated, the coastline of Africa.

Possible, however there's no evidence yet that the new character is in fact a villain. My guess is yes, but I doubt it will involve water since a recent article suggests there will be a villain that is capable of flipping Warthogs...
