Phrog pilots, reckless and free. We would strap into our birds, set the engines on fire, and leave these earthly bonds with a chorus of WHOP WHOP WHOP. Akin to beating your chest and howling in defiance at the rest of the world.

A long winded history
I've owned many a video game console but never a home computer. I used computers to write papers in college, or write flight schedules and update excel spreadsheets for work. Then in 2002 I bought an X-box, with a copy of some game EB recommended called Halo, to bring on a Navy cruise. Once out to sea my buddy and I fired up Halo and the two of us played co-op on a daily basis. My friend and I have often agreed that Halo was the one thing that enabled us to keep our sanity. I reveled in the detailed story and shared our experiences with friends. Soon we had half the ship crammed in our room waiting to play, watching others play, or simply shouting out enemy locations. It was Halo that broke those monotous times for so many. (This would continued with Halo 2)
Fast forward to 2004 and Halo is still going strong in the Xbox. I get wind that Halo 2 is coming out and decide to try and search the internet for any information about the game. To shamefully display my computer ignorance at that time, I was genuinly suprised when Bungie came up on the search as having a website. I looked around on the site, unsure of what I was doing but enjoying the plethora of information. It took three months before I finally decided to test the water and start an account.
My goal here is to absorb as much information about Bungie and its community as I can. Although not very boisterous I'm always around watching what's going on, enjoying my time here, and helping when I can. In some subtle way I'm paying respect to the game company that has unknowingly helped my navy buddies and I through those low times, while wishing I had known about them long ago.
