Dude, try to find a better sniper than me. :)
Hey guys. I'm going to say this now; if you don't like MLG, or anything along those lines, please just stop reading here and leave. I'm simply posting this for people that are bored and want to watch good teams play Halo.
A 6-Team LAN is being streamed at The Lan Network. Now, it does cost money to watch, but that's because it's a lot of streaming (It would take up your whole weekend). You get a basement cam with volume(it's a nice basement ;), it allows you to see inside the basement where the teams are playing... you can see the players and the stations). You can also choose one PoV (Point of View) from the four that are available (1 player from each team). And then on top of that, you get in-game sounds AND the voice communication between all players.
There's also a live chatbox to talk to the other viewers. Sometimes the pros will get on and talk (Not too often though).
There's also a fantasy league. My team name is Instinct D-Riders, and the players on my team are: Roy, Ace, Neighbor, and Best Man. It's pretty stacked if you ask me, lol.
The teams attending the LAN are:
1. Instinct - Roy, Lunchbox, Cloud, and Elamite Warrior
2. Final Boss - Ogre 2, FearItSelf, Victory X, and iGotUrPistola
3. Status Quo - Ace, Assault, Flamesword, and Enable
4. Believe the Hype - Snipedown, Demon D, Maniac, and Heinz
5. Triggers Down - Neighbor, Best Man, Hysteria, and Totz
6. Str8 Rippin - Tsquared, Legit, Ghostayame, and Soldier187
Now, I completely understand if you don't want to pay to watch people play Halo. However, it's really good entertainment, and I'd rather watch a weekend-long LAN with the Circuit's top teams than go watch a movie.... which costs relatively the same amount.
If you decide to sign-up, I'll see you in there. ;)
