Thats where your friendly neighborhood PC repair man comes in.
You see, your lil ol PC might be relevant to that really old 97 VW jetta you got there. Well, lets just say you need to throw some turbochargers n -blam!- in that bich.
Ok, but really, it's going to cost you some real money to upgrade your PC. $600 might be a lil more than enough, but it should be able to help it get up to spec.
a little tip about picking a repair man, or bringing it into a computer shop. Any kind of PC repair shop will upgrade it for you, but only few won't take advantage of your lack of knowledge when it comes to PCs.
If you can, post the upgrades they want to do as well as their asking price on here so we can tell you if you should go for it. And if it's not too much to ask for, can you post your current PC's specs?
Go to start>control panel>system
I want to know what is sais under:
-Processor
-Installed memory
then on the left, click Device Manager, what does it say under Display Adapter?
If it's all too much work, you might want to consider buying a new PC altogether or stick with console gaming. You don't need to be an enthusiast to get into PC gaming but it also takes a lot of knowledge to begin with.
