I just thought it would be cool having different type of ammo. for instance. standard battle rifle rounds, and mmm like explosive rounds. or armor piercing rounds. maybe a standard rocket and a heat seeking rocket , i dont know, just ideas. i mean we have this stuff now, in 2004, why not in the future

Exactly

If it ain't broke, don't fix it; guns should be the same as they were in the original, and adding new types of ammunition wouild complicate things...

really you think so. managing tone of different weapons is easy in games like unreal, why would it be difficult handling 2 weapons with one of those having two type of ammo, our soldiers have no problem

i just think it would give more options. for instance if you were up against a wraith and only had your battle rifle. some armore piercing rounds would be nice. it just gives you options in how to destroy

I think we should get those "plastique mines" from 007...now those...were cool oh yeah and we should also have some sort of grenade launcher on our assault rifles like 007 or ghost recon (I think that 's it)

Different types of ammo would be to complicated for a controller, especially if you needed to switch right away. It would be cool to be able to use the shredder rounds from the books though, I want to shred me some grunts :)
