Here's an idea:
Any time someone on the forum uses the word "noob", "newb", or any of its spelling varitaions, it should be filtered to say, instead of newb, "new guy", since that is essentially the correct meaning of the word. I beleive that it would work well, and if people try to bypass the filter (camel typing, n00b), then they could get a warning or a blacklisting (that does seem a little rash, though. Maybe just a warning.). Would this work, or is it just another silly idea? Post comments if you wish, and maybe Achronos could take this into consideration.
