#1 Favorite Game: Wind Waker

I started up Halo CE yesterday (the one downloaded from Xbox LIVE marketplace, if theres even a difference) And it said it needed an update to play it on xbox live or I would be signed out.

Anyone have a clue what it was?? I replayed through the whole campaign and played multiplayer for a bit and I couldnt find what it was.

The Xbox 360 has limited memory space for updates, so if you have played a sertain number of other games it will delete all the older updates and you will have to re-update.

When you start an original XBox game on the 360, the 360 checks if there's a new version/whitelist for the emulator. The update you experienced was either an emulator update or whitelist update for the emulator.

Original XBox games have no way of being patched by the 360's updater, they have their update checkers built into the game and updates executed via an update.xbe file. Of course, with LIVE access down for original XBox games, this is now impossible.
