I like Halo. Since you are reading this, you probably do too.

I know there has got to be something comprehensive out there about the audiophile achievement I just haven't been able to find it.

I've got the audio file locations map and I've done the rounds five times now and I'm still missing three. I know one is in the Data Hive so that leaves 2 in the streets at night that I need to find as the Rookie. It seems that I need to beat certain levels before the files open up at night--as I've only beat the first two levels in my restarted game.

I am wondering: does anybody know how many levels and which levels you need to beat in order to then follow the map and collect every file? I'm really tired of circling the city and not finding the files.

Or perhaps there is a way to reset the files and start over?

Your help is appreciated, thank you.

(Hopefully this doesn't get lost in the sea of vidmaster threads. Here goes.)

I know what you mean. A couple of them are hidden in places you wouldn't expect.
Check each of the courtyards again. Keep in mind that they usually have one door that doesn't open and one that does. It can get confusing.

Any word on being able to reset the files or should I just run through all the locations after each level? I hope it wouldn't have to come to that. Yikes.

You can't reset it in single player, but each time you start a co-op game it starts fresh.

So could I theoretically load up a dummy account and then get all the files in co-op?

Also, I've heard that you can't get the Data Hive file on co-op. Something about how when you load up the level it erases all of your file data. Or do I have to play through the whole game in one sitting?

That could be done on easy I suppose.

Not true. I helped my friend get it by going through a full playthrough of the game.
