Probably means it doesn't think you have a gold membership.

I just checked your Xbox Live profile, and it says you still have a silver membership. Are you sure you added the gold onto the A1 Chaos account? Did you use a code or was it through a credit card?

Hmmm, try going to the "My Account" page at xbox.com. Click membership level on the left-hand side and see if there are any gold memberships that you haven't used, yet.

Or better yet, go to the systems tab on your xbox dashboard. Then, go to memberships and check if there are any gold subscriptions that you've paid for but haven't applied to your account, yet.

I'm getting this issue too; curiously though, there is no actual problem until I have two profiles signed in and playing on the same 360; at this point, it tells me that the formerly silver account is still silver, rather than gold.

However, if that same profile plays alone, there is no problem at all and it displays itself as Gold and can play online. If, though, during a game I then sign the other profile in on the other controller (always seems to be considered gold), it will immediately exit the match without warning and say that one or more players are not allowed to play on live.

Frustrating :(. Is this something that corrects itself over time?
