I'm a HUGE fan of the Halo series, Haha the irony of this is that I really got into the series because of the Covies, not so much the Chief, but I love the Spartan II's. I really can't thank Bungie enough for creating such an amazing game.

Never K.I.A

I'm looking forward to do a painting of my favorite character though, The Prophet of Truth as Reach draws closer.

Thanks Bungie for all the years of grins and awesome you've brought me.

Thanks, Halo is always a fun thing to speedpaint.

Known as Spartanx5 or Levartho ( or by my real name of course). I aim to inspire the community with my art.

I really like this, the darkened lighting on the Spartans face really sets the tone for this one. Maybe I am looking into too much but it almost seems metaphorical, because the Chief really saw some of the darkest sides of that war. Even when it was finished he never saw the result of his work, the survival of humanity.

It can also be said that Spartans refuse to go towards the light, and as such they never die. Either way this has an exceptional amount of depth in it compared to other halo pieces, which often have no meaning. Much like my work which is just a representation of halo assets most of the time, it means nothing to the viewer and is only temporary eye candy. Whereas your work can linger in the minds of not just halo fans, but anyone who appreciates art. It has more life to it, and that is something that never goes unnoticed.

I would love to see this as a finalized painting, instead of being left as a speed painting. It seems you are capable of going into great detail.

Thanks a lot for the kind words. I remember a while back that someone wrote up this article about how Halo was one of the worst stories ever made, which I think is complete rubbish. Halo is one of my favorite stories of all time, the characters are a lot more detailed than people give them credit for especially my favorites like the Forerunners and the Prophets.

Very cool, nice and simple to a certain degree, like the lighting effect too

Halo is unique in that the story isn't shoved down your throat with unskippable cutscenes, and only goes in depth if you are willing to look in depth. In that sense people can jump in at any time and not feel too out of place. Though reviewers can look at the game biased, not go in depth with the story because they already don't like it, and basically spew something out that is utter garbage with no factual evidence to support it. Halo has a vast story, the amount of content out there is staggering, specifically in the books. I appreciate the attention to detail which many developers seem to leave out, or keep a lot to themselves.
