personally i fell in love with the xbox version of halo. is the pc version basically the same or is there a difference? ive been thinking of buying the pc version but if its exactly the same game, ill save the $50 for halo2.

AND, how the hell do you beat halo in legendary mode?!? i couldnt even get off the pillar of autumn (i got killed like 10 times in 20 mins.....).

the pc version requires the best pc and the best graphics cards to have xbox quality. The multiplayer always lag. The single player isn't fun without co-op. Get it for the multiplayer, it is at least good.

Take your time with legendary, your not in a rush, basically the more you do it the easier it gets. Legendary is also great fun to play in a pair.

Well I don't think HaloPC is worth it. You lag in singleplayer, unless you have a pretty super computer, which is just plain screwed up. Plenty of multiplayer, but there's always a bit of lag. Mods and such are fun to play around with, but they get old and there are some out there who do a little bit of cheating.

HaloPC has more possibilities, but owning and Xbox has taught me that console games are always better than computer games. Stick with your Xbox because fluid, unlagging gameplay is a lot better than a couple mods.

Now your not beeing fair... all you told him were the negatives about halo pc (and i own both halos, so I am a legitamit judge of this). There are 6 new mp maps (all support vehicles), 2 new weapons( fuel rod gun[which is my new fav weapon], and flamethrower[ridiculous power at short range]). PLUS... soon they are coming out with a modding kit so you can mod easily, making new maps, cooler vehicles, and more.

So, if you need more of a halo fix while waiting for halo 2 , halo PC is a good buy (plus I got it for 'round 40-45$ canadian which is like 30$ american or so i think (thats all after tax). Its worth it if you ask me.

Well I have them both too, and I've had HaloPC from the beginning. The new levels are awesome, and new weapons are great, but playing with constant lag just can't compare to smooth play of the Xbox.

Halo PC has its plusses, but I like Xbox much better
