Library on Legendary was hella BULL-blam!-...

  • 07.22.2010 5:06 AM PDT

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo:CE > Reach > ODST > Wars

That, and 343 Guilty Spark scared the -blam!- out of me. I was only 9 when Halo CE came out, so playing those levels scared the living daylights out of me. My favourite was Assault on the Control Room, and naturally the warthog section of The Maw. Also Halo was good fun, but i despised Keyes also.

I had fairly negative thoughts on it at first, but it's grown on me over the years. It's a level that garners negativity from people due to its incredibly nonstandard design; it violates every rule in the book. But when playing it, it's fun.

It's also nowhere near as hard as people make it out to be. I played it on legendary a few days ago, and I had just played Two Betrayals on legendary, and The Library felt easy in comparison.

Well judging since there was no point in that mission, no. If Guilty Spark could have opened all the doors and got the icon himself then why the hell did Chief need to go with him. I really hated that mission too because it was impossible.

One thing that really annoys me is when people put a little squiggly (~) and part of their name at the bottom of their post. I mean like seriously, do you think we can't see your name right above your post? If i ever put ~qwert at the bottom of one of my posts, i want anyone who reads it to punch me in the face right then and there, no matter where you live or what you're doing.

He needed a Reclaimer to grab the index and activate Halo. He couldn't do it himself.

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

It was an awesome level.

Really? I thought it was easy once you got a shotgun and a Plasma Pistol/Rifle. And of course, TAKE YOUR DAMN TIME.

I liked it. Not my favourite, but I liked it.

It was awful but not boring. Everytime I walked into a Hallway I was surrounded. THen about every 5 minutes the monitor ditches you.

RIP Halo 2: November 9, 2004-May 10, 2010
I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

Honestly, it was my favorite level to play solo.

its basically just to show you how incredibly annoying the flood is because you just wander around in a bunch of alike hallways that never seem to end while the game just spams you with flood from front and back until you want to put a bullet through your head, and on top of that you have to play hide and go seek with the monitor every 5 seconds and when you find him he just sings and sings and sings

I've made it my life goal to never become too stressed. So if I appear to be doing nothing all the time and generally never working particularly hard on any task, that's my plan in action.

The most annoying and I swear it was rigged, is still one of my favorite levels mainly for the fact that Master Chief is killing endless amounts of Flood.

I enjoyed it, but it was a short level.

What a waste....

But I don't wanna ride the elevator!

No, it was pointless and boring. You start like 10 feet from the Index, climb hundreds of feet, then go all the way back down in an elevator. WTF?

  • 07.25.2010 10:46 PM PDT

We believe that the universe is unbounded: this is not the same as infinite: the 2-D surface of a sphere, wrapped around a 3rd dimension, has a finite size, but has no end. If you start off in a given direction on the surface of a sphere, you could return to your start point without having to turn around -- you simply go all the way around. But wouldn't that mean the universe has an escape velocity like the earth?

I personally thought it was a pointless ending, all that work for an elevator trip back to the start? But the level as a whole was fantastic, and on Legendary...FFFUUUUUU-

Ah the library I remember that this level was really quite boring as it was the same thing over and over. P.s It's not that hard guys try it on legendary and then try Two Betrayals,Two Betrayals is probaly the hardest level.

I liked it. Close quarters shotgunning. Plus when you're 12 it's tense and scary.

The absolute worst level of any kind in any Halo game in my opinion.

Halo 3's flood are just annoying to fight.
