Ok everybody knows about the http://www.ilovebees.com timer and how they put it into the most recent trailer well mabey it is just me but that is a lot of advertiseing for OXM that most people would buy anyway after they simply saw the cover said something about halo 2 instead of advertiseing in pop ups or anything like that they decided lets make a fairly complex website and make it look like the website is dieing and then put a countdown timer on it to count down untill 3 things except 2 of them will only make the site look worse and when the third one goes off OXM wil go on shelves (That makes perfect since)

*Also i don't think i have seen 1 single mod suportive of any of the theroys i understand that it might get annoying reading the same theroy over and over again but still it is just peoples ideas on what might happen (if you can't tell i think this is a corver up)

*Last thing is Frankie did come out and say that there was no demo and all there was on the 24th was the OXM but what strikes me as odd is the fact that he waited till the first timer whent off and then he waited some more then he decided to flame anybody who belived it might be coming out on August 24th(if you haven't seen the post you can find it HERE just go down untill you see the bright green avaitar) i don't understand at all why he would wait so long to tell people there was no demo or game release on August 24th also he could have put it in the last weekly update so everybody would read it at the same time

Reply with coments, other things that didn't add up to you, and/or flames

it doesnt add up how he says "I DONT KNOW HOW IT GOT SO MUCH MOMENTUM" and "SIGH". he knows how it got momentum, they put the site link in the freakin movie prieview!!! who else would be responsible for a worldwide release of a movie that "accidently"
posts a website with a timer on it? just like the cortana letters? stop acting stupid! PLUS why would a magazine need advertisement on a xbox.com website, and on a hundred other websites that play that movie? how would the magazine get all that information on the secrets the website has and hints towards halo 2? wouldnt bungie be pissed that someone is falsifying (SP?) information?

I'd say the people that are acting stupid are the people that looked at a website for what is obviously just a way to distract people for a wihle, and saw the early release of a video game.

It's not the website's fault, nor the link in the trailer, that mass stupidity took over. It's entirely the fault of the fans who didn't logically think anything through and came to the wrong conclusion after building up a poor theory with no real evidence and logic that was poor at best.

the link to the website in the halo trailer has nothing to do with the early release rumor. so sotp using that as evidence that frankie is lying because he is not.

Frankie being in England and Germany is no excuse. No matter how busy a person is, someone is going to see their e-mail and/or search the web. Sure, he may not see the forums but I'm pretty sure someone high up at Bungie saw the forums while Frankie was gone. For him to say he doesn't know how it got started is just bullocks.

Duh, Microsoft wanted you to find the website, it's part of their little advertising game. They wanted people to jump into this ARG and participate in it and have some fun. Instead, people saw a countdown, took their favorite hope for the countdown, regardless of how illogical it was, and decided that it was the answer.

Just because there's a website with a connection to Halo 2 that has a countdown on it that ends in august does NOT mean that there's an early release date. If you actually think that, then you probably would've been better off never knowing about ilovebees because you're not ready for games that require reasoning.

Bungie Should have known that halo 2 fan would blow this out of proportion they put ilovebees.com in the trailer to get up the hype so ppl will be talking about it, keeping it fresh in our minds.

Yeah, shame on Bungie, believing in the intelligence of their fanbase. Let's hope they don't do that again.

bungie and microsoft are no strangers to add campains so it would make since that they would know that a few people would belive it was counting down to the release but if it isn't the release then what is it and don't tell me it is the OXM comes to stores because people who get it in the mail will see it before August 24th

ok i dont even care about the full relaese or a demo on the 24th but bungie does owe us halo fans something on that day. Look at all the fighting and arguments and non stop thinking about the topic has occured because of the ilovebbes flash in the cinimatic trailer.

Bungie BETTER do something big on that day or alot of people will be very angry. We deserve something for what ilovebees has put us through, don't we?
