Welcome to the forums. A few pointers:

>Read the stickies. They'll help you immensely

>Make sensible posts. They earn you respect. Don't say something that you don't know for sure, and above all, NEVER choose the path of a fanboy.

>Don't feed the trolls!

By the by, is your name based upon a TV show? Just a question.

The books are an amazing resource for Halo.

Halo: The Fall of Reach is probably my favorite out of the three books. It gives an immense amount of background on the Master Chief and what the military did to him. It also went deeper into the war and destruction of Reach. Halo: The Flood is basically the game in book form, but is still a must-read. It tells of side-stories next to the Master Chief's own adventures. Halo: First Strike is the amazing story told in the time-frame between Halo 1 and 2, my second-favorite book in the series.

As for the forums: Don't spam. You know what spam is, so don't; there's enough of it already. Any intelligent topics would be a blessing here. If you'd like to learn about specific events in Halo history or about Halo in general, don't hesitate to ask. There is usually someone willing to give you some information or at least point you in the right direction.

There has been no word on whether Halo 2 will be coming to the PC or not. Bungie is currently working on a project which many people have conjectured to be Halo 3.

In my opinion, I don't think that Halo 2 will be coming to the PC. Bungie's project could potentially be the porting of Halo 2 to the PC, but I doubt that; I think they would definitely have announced it and actually, Bungie didn't port Halo to the PC. Bungie had developer GearBox port it. So, if Halo 2 is in fact coming to the PC, I would imagine that Bungie would have them or some other developer do it, however, I sincerely believe that there will be no Halo on PC.

It has been suggested that the reason for putting Halo on the PC was to give PC users a taste of Halo and have them buy the Xbox-exclusive Halo 2 when it releases. None of this is confirmed or denied.
