Although, their are many to argue that it is not Bungies' responsibility to destroy rumors before they grow out of control, it really is. Bungie is a company based off of consumers products and whether or not the products sell is why it is Bungies responsibility to its customers to set things straight. If they didn't want it to grow out of control and have so many people become dissapointed with it then they should have posted something or never had put that ILB.com at the end of the theatrical release. That was irrisponsible of them for doing something like that. To blame those who are young and say it is their fault is also irrisponsible. I don't care either way when the game is released, but I must state my opinion and to have it locked up because it goes against what is happening is only something to stiffen the fact that there is something to hide.
it's not Bungie's fault that half the forums misunderstood the meaning of ilovebees. how could they know that so many people wouldn't grasp the concept of an ARG.
as far as it being Bungie's responsibilty to debunk every rumor out there. LoL sure try telling that to microsoft, apple, or any other corporation. they cannot be help responsible for some rumor that was created by fanatics or even people who dislike the company.
