Subject: Bungie helping flood relief

Devil is Double is Deuce and Joker always trumps Deuce.

Does anyone else find it extremely awesome how involved Bungie is being with flood relief? Between the news post, the threads about donations, and now this kickass shirt, (20 bucks and 15 goes toward flood relief), Bungie is doing far more than any other developer would do in times like this. And it isn't the first time either. But this wouldn't be possible if it weren't for the fact that we have such a close community. This is way more than just a videogame site. And Bungie is doing incredible things to help these people in their time of need. So, I urge you to buy the shirt, donate, do something.

I too applaud Bungie for all they do.

If I hadn't funneled all my donations through Fark, it would be here.

Actually, in the spirit of giving and helping, I challenge Bungie.net folks to take on Fark.com folks generousity. Fark is at $22,127.20.

"heh"

If EA tried to do this over their website, they'd get about -$3.

Yes, it's wonderful that Bungie is doing all this. I mean you hear that Mc Donnalds donates lots to this and that, but when your favorite game producer (Bungie) is doing something about it it's a whole lot different. I guess some nerds might say "All in the name of Halo!" but hey, that's still okay right?

Ok, the update's up. And get this: on top of the "Fight the Flood" shirt, all the September Bungie store profits are going to aid relief. Plus, there's going to be an auction on HBO which will help raise money as well. Awesome.

Yes, well, most hurricanes aren't level fives, which is the most destructive hurricane that can possibly be. How would you feel if your house was underwater? Even if your house is still standing it wouldn't change the fact that it would be completly submerged underwater. What about people's cars? Fine, we'll make cars outta cement from now on, okay? And what about banks? l'm sure a few of those got knocked over spewing money into the sewers and ruining it.

Not completly true....most {if not all} banks have a vault that stores the money, and the vaults are bulit to stand up against just about anything.

I live in GA and many tornados hit my area, and a bank was destroyed all that was left was the vault that holds the money.

What sucks is I was in the storm....and was on a date too... the damn storm killed my nite out.

l'm not feeding anything. lf feeding is making the problem known, then l'm going to feed until your so full you explode. lt's people like him who need to know how bad it is. People like him don't realize how good they've got it. And even if he was joking, l don't care. You don't kid about stuff like that. lt makes me sick.

I'll be on my own side.

Why would you NOT get that shirt? It's awesome! It's the Chief kicking a Carrier Form in the ass.How kickass is that? Even if it wasn't to help people I would buy it, but its a greater incentive to buy it knowing you can help out those people in need.
