To Mr Man-
Yes, I do run on walls and vault rails and all kinds of amazing things. But, I really believe in the philosophy of not having limits. Parkour is a way of expressing this.
Me: "See that wall?"
You: "Yeah, so?"
Me: "That wall was designed and built to keep someone like me from getting to the other side. That wall was designed to limit my movement."
You: "Ehh..."
Me: "Bear with me. There are walls and rails everywhere, each one designed to keep us in check, restrict our freedom in a small way. But, these things no longer present an obstacle to me. I can move and flow over them, around them, under them. I cannot be contained. I cannot be told how to live and where to walk. I am free."
Once you realize that those things people have built can no longer stand in your way, you really start to FEEL more free, even just walking around outside. It's really amazing.
To Fury-
If you're implying that I look like a monkey when I do parkour, that's partly accurate. The climbing and running are reminiscent of animal movements.
If you're not trying to insult me, then I think you have a point. If you ARE, then I have a better place you can stick a 7- word post...
