Well, keep it up man. Improvement comes rapidly at first, then more slowly. Have you checked out the urban freeflow forums yet? They're a great place to meet other traceurs, and find out all kinds of information. I posted the link to the main site up there somewhere, if you need it. It's cool that you have a place where you can do PK, nobody yelling at you there, I hope. It's also great you have some people to do it with. That's a tough thing to find.

Yeah, I check out UF all the time. I love it! It's nice to go to my workplace, but when there are a lot of people around, I get some strange stares. Hehe, not that I really care, it's quite funny actually :) Do you have many good spots, or do people get angry (I've known my brother [who is at college] to have problems with that once in a while) If you want to see some action (from my brother anyway, check about 5 pages back in Urban Graffiti, I'll post the link). But seriously, do people yell at you a lot for doing stuff (I've gotta watch out for the Coast Guard, I do it right next to their Headquarters/station)?

Hey not bad, just needs a little work on the flow, and maybe a little more variety. Doesn't work too good in Mozilla, either. I would tell people to go to www.adam.ac/parkour3.mp4
That way it loads, instead of displaying slashes.

Nobody's yelled at me as of yet, just stares, and I'm sure that when I practice in one area, they think I'm pretty suspicious. i.e. I don't like to do a move when someone is walking by, so I just stand there until they go past. Probably not the best policy...

OMG THIS IS SO STUPID WHY DONT YALL LEAVE IT TO THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE MONEY AND CAN MAKE THINGS LOOK BETTER, yes i think a halo movie woudl be really awesome in fact i want some people that can make a halo movie but to where it looks really proffessional (hence dont care how good a kids looks wants it to be an adult whos had much experience) i think then they would make the top seller in box office most likely! cause everyone would want to go see a really cool 2 and half hour halo movie that is like the final fantasy movie made but only a LOT better and i dont think that would be hard to do since this is halo we are talking about.

Haven-
Some hollywood bigwigs WILL probably make a Halo movie. And yes, it will be cool and have special effects and tons of people will go to see it. That isn't even an issue.

Bunnycrusher's movie will most likely NOT have special effects, a big budget, a major director, or many people who want to go see it. Those who don't want to see it, that's fine.

But, every director has to start somewhere. Steven Spielberg (and I'm not implying the Bunnycrusher will become that good) didn't just sit down one day and make a movie that won an oscar. His first movie was pretty crappy, recorded on 8mm film with no sound.

Saying he shouldn't even try to make his movie is being obtuse. If you wanted to learn skateboarding, what would it be like if everyone told you not to even bother, because you really sucked at it? We would have VERY few skateboarders.

The point is this- Bunnycrusher's effort is, if NOTHING else, a good practice for doing something later on.

Rabican-
Have you seen any of David Belle's PK movies? Unbelievable! I found a bunch at http://www.le-parkour.com
It's all in French though. :)

Yeah, my big bro's not too bad at PK, and that was from like a month and a half ago. I've actually got one of the David Bell/Yamakasi videos saved right now. That guy is incredible... :) (By the by, I'm going to Paris this year for a school trip with my French class! I wonder, should I try to jam with some guys over there? [by this I mean anyone who is into it, not David Bell] :) Obviously all of them would totally outclass me, but at the very least it could be a fun learning experience from some of the best.

Heck yes! Those guys are the cream of the crop, and any chance you might get to PK with them, I would accept. Just watch out, a lot of French people despise Americans (You're American, I'm assuming) But, from what I've seen on UF, everyone in the PK community is really cool and attitude-free, so you will probably be ok around those guys. Plus, they might be surprised that an American would take the time to learn something like PK.

If you're Canadian, on the other hand, then you're all set. :)

By the way, you're a lucky man to be able to visit Paris. That city is so dense, it's like the whole city would be one giant hotspot! Plus, what better place could you ask for to amaze your classmates with something like PK? ;)

Well, I am American, but I was hoping that PK could be the universal language. And yes, I think that there will be a few dropped draws amongst my classmates :) It'll definitely be a once in a lifetime experience for me (this is obviously a one time only deal for me, I don't have enough money to go again). I'm also getting as many pictures and vids as I can of all the PK action. I just hope I don't get stuck going through a French school day. Ouch. Students can be brutal when they despise you :-\

Oh geez, you have to go through a school day? That's really gonna suck...
I don't know your political affiliations, but whatever they are, you might want to make a statement to the effect that, "Bush is a prick." They REALLY hate Bush, and any enemy of his is a friend of theirs, I guess. You may even want to invest in an anti-Bush hat or t-shirt, which may actually get you some cheers or pats on the back. Like I said, this doesn't need to reflect your political inclinations, but consider it insurance against an after-school beating. ;)
