Do not modify passages from the Bible. That's a good way to get A LOT of people pissed at you. Besides, John 1:17 is:

I've been PKing for about 2 or 3 months. Again, I would say work on those basics. Especially the roll. Roll until you could do it with your eyes shut. Rolls will save your bacon. Look at skate videos- when do people get hurt the worst? It's when they fall forward off a rail or edge, going headfirst toward the ground, and instead of tucking and rolling, they claw upwards, trying to get upright again, and end up folding themselves in half. Learn to roll! ;)
Other than that, work on your balance. Try walking along beams and stuff. Another good thing for balance is to stand on one leg with your eyes closed for as long as possible. Not only is it unbelievable for balance, but it works out your small ankle muscles like crazy, and you will need strong ankles for PK. Trust me. ;)
