It is horrible that this stuff happened, but what really ticks me off is the worthless people who are raping, murdering, beating and shooting people. It is a shame the old people and babies weren't spared in the flood and these sick people taken instead. But of course, life isn't fair so let's try to help out.

Whoever decided to write this up in the news article:

" The looting: Crackheads who are too stupid to leave. 'Nuff said."

I can't believe Bungie would allow this to be part of the article. These people who were stuck behind were not crackheads who were too stupid to leave, they are poor. They can't just get in a car and go stay somewhere. But I guess they must be crackheads because they didn't leave.

It's one thing to loot and it's another thing to stay alive. Stealing food and water because in order to survive is not looting.

Please delete this ignorant statement from the article or I guess now all poor people are crackheads.

I would hold off and try to help people later on when we know how much things are going to cost. If you follow this story, you see there is no shortage fo money being donated to help the people down there. The real problem is logistics. All the money in the world isn't going to get more nationl guard troops in there to do what needs to be done. Things are moving along as fast as they possibly can. I would save my money now and try to help the families later once it's clear what they are going to need to pick up the pieces and start a new life.

that isnt really true saying we only care about our country, i donated money n stuff to all the tsunami (sry, i hate school and cant spell, english sucks) victums n other stuff. we all "ran" to help other countries when they got hurt, and i noticed something when i was playing online, there was a british dude playing, and he said he didnt give a s*** about the u.s. or what happened, he said the u.s. deserved to get hit by the hurricane, but yet he said he helped other countries, like the tsunami victums, and i've noticed a lot of people from other countries like him, but i've also seen people from other countries who tried to help, or they at least said they sent money

It's just sad that people care so much about what country everyone else is from. We're all human and we need to help each other out. The tsunami's were on the other side of the world, and I didn't see as much in-your-face footage of the devastation from it, but I still donated money. The London bombings were awful, and just pissed me off even more at the terrorists and reinforced my wanting to go into the Air Force.

Now the hurricane hits our gulf coast, destroying a ton of homes and affecting the lives of millions of people. Everywhere I turn online, on TV, and in the newspaper, I see people walking through diseased waters, rapes, murders, and crackheads looting. And just to clear things up, yes, we know that there are people looting grocery stores and stuff to get things to survive, that's ok. The mayor himself said that it was the drug addicts looting hospitals and pharmacies to ease their cravings, and they're the ones running around with guns shooting at cops and helicopters.

We're all human, we all live in the same world, and we all need to help each other out. I don't care what country you're from; if you get hit by something as horrific as Katrina, the tsunami, or a terrorist attack, you're going to suffer and need people to help out. The people on XBL that were laughing about the London bombings and tsunami are sick little a$$holes, and definately don't represent America on the whole. It's time to stop with the grudges against other countries and just help each other out, and that's not just directed against other countries. A few of us Americans need to be less cocky and have more respect for people.

Well said.

Not everyone is cocky...true, and when there's a crisis in our country or other countries, it always brings out the good in all of us, as well as the bad.

dude...he's not calling the ones who are stealing food and water crackheads. It's the ones stealing the tv's that will have no electricity for 2 months. I live 3.5 hours from new orleans...trust me..those guys are crackheads. Not all of them..but u can definitely tell the ones who are. You live in Michigan..you wouldn't know

I live a couple of hours away to, oh yeah, those riots everyone is saying are rumors, they're not, I know someone who left because of them. I agree about the crackheads though, who would steal a tv whith no electricity for miles in every direction?

I'd like to say thank's to you guys at bungie on behalf of Louisiana, we really appreciate your help.

Buy more t-shirts!

ok I read a few pages of this and no matter where you are we all are humans and it's sick that some of you don't care I have a friend who's canadian and know some people from Europe I don't care where your from what color your skin is whatever I don't care I'm here in Louisiana and it's hard to belive some of you criticize us from half a world away saying we don't help we are the most charitable country on the planet. I am glad to have your support for those of you that don't care your sick and twisted people are dying and you don't care you could give a couple extra bucks to save a life and you don't care. I see tons of people every day from New Orleans and they are happy to have people care if you could see this you wouldn't say you don't care it would be inhuman take it from somebody thats actually in the state I wish you could see all that I've seen and if you had you wouldn't be saying we don't help and making excuses like I don't want money to go to looters bs everywhere in the world there are criminals but in this case the money is going towards supplies which then are given to the ones who need it.
