I think you should give to someone else besides the red cross. they didn't help out in the super dome and they needed a lot of help in there. whats up with that?

Hi, i play halo pc as M2K Fender. I greatly appriciate the things bungie is trying to do to help the hurricane victims. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and i have 7 familey members from New Orleans living with me rite now, and 2 that havent been accounted for yet. If anyone knows the amount of stress that is happening in the hurricane relief rite now it's me. I have donated tons of clothing, water, and $700 for the hurricane efforts so far and i plan to buy a shirt the second i get the chance.

PS: Same here shure shot, i have already given 20 hours of volunteer help in shelters, some of these things i hear really tick me off to, And if your just going to critisize us, plz dont post in this topic, and my you fall off something.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I am now once again able to join you. In Mobile, power has been restored and cable is on line. We are up and running like nothing ever happen. Almost. I was able to make a trip to Pascagoula, Mississippi yesterday to check on family members who live in this community. My first stop was my 81 year old Aunt Betty’s house. I was met at the door by my cousin Jamie. Jamie is a captain on the Pascagoula police department. He is 50 years old, 6’-7”, 300lbs of a man and he openly cried on my shoulder. Even though he, his brother and sister have lost everything they own, his tears were not for his lost. It was for all the people he has come in contact with that need help. He took me on a tour of the community to see the damage and to be honest with you I cried also. Pascagoula is a diverse community of people of all racial and social backgrounds. They are all working hard together to over come this disaster. But, they need help and they need it now! How can you help? Go to Bungie web page and read the article about the tee shirt. I encourage everyone to buy this shirt. The money will go to the Red Cross which will help them. Please do not delay! The sooner the money gets to the Red Cross; the sooner help will be on the way.
Sincerely,
Tinm0n

Jerrabbit- hey, what do you have against Michiganders? we're not all hicks like some people apparently think we are lol

AscendantLaos- we're (apparently?) asking for gas because it's at like $5 per gallon in some places (by comparison, its been somewhere in the $2 range for the past few years)

M2K Fender- glad that most of your family's safe, I'm sure the other 2 are fine and hopefully you'll hear from them some

tinm0n- wow, thanks for that personal account, it really puts things in perspective to hear stuff firsthand like that. the description of your cousin just proves how horrible this would be to experience. good to hear that your community's getting back to normal and everyone for the most part is ok; hopefully the rest of the coast will follow soon.

The Marty Army

Ah, look at the lonely people...

Excellent, Bungie. Simply excellent. This is the best idea a game company has ever come up with to help out in a disaster. Who knows? What's next? Marty playing on the street for money to donate in his spare time, Frankie shoveling muck along side my dad, who knows? The Tee shirt? Genius. Catchy theme, great visual.

I am going to help by donating my xbox 360 money and all of the money i get for the next month to help katrina victims.

Just like the song goes We are connected. Whoever was left behind we will always be there.

I know you didn't call him a hick, but you said something about 'ur from Michigan so you wouldn't know,' and I've heard that people think all of us are hicks. but it's not too far north for them either lol

I mean heck Ide wether be in school doing really bad and getting fs so my mom beats me. We can at least do that. I am vary sorry to the people out there but I cant help with buying this t-shirt.

Moderator Notice: The first half of this was not necessary. Please don't bash people just because they live in a certain city.

I do feel deep sarrow for the ones that wanted to eveacuate but couldnt because they had no means of transportation or were un able to finance their eveacuation. thus why my my family's orginization (Schnabel Family Org) will be sending ruffly 10,000$ to support the red cross. Thanks for your time.

Dude, I feel really bad for those people. That must suck to sit on your roof for like 5 days without food. I'm gonna buy one of those T-Shirts. Sorry about the POOP-COLA signature. I meant to change it, but now it's too late.

It takes a lot to make me read something and end with tears in my eyes but Bungie has truly done it. There is truly a force in Halo. I have just moved to California, and Halo has helped me meet neighbors, spend time with family, and now Bungie and the community is giving back. I hate to sound cliche, but everyone who helps is truly doing something spectacular, and I am proud to say I am a part of it. Thanks you guys, Bless you.
