Yo shut up about the update. Who cares if you don't see it for one week. They might do a second one just for them always being nice to us.

Also I think it's terrible how there are being shown on TV. If I was suffering down there I wouldn't want to be subjected to such ridicule on National TV.

Also, no offense to the people in New Orleans, but if I chose where to live it wouldn't be in the "bowl city" where hurricanes can and do occur. Another reason why I like living way up north. But the taxes suck in New York, the one downside.

I can't believe how ignorant some of the people in this forum are. You see these people living there, and they have nothing and all you care about is a Weekly What's Update, about halo 3, and about the playlists? There's more to life than just videogames you know. When you grow up, video games won't save you. Take some time to look at the world around you and look at how lucky you are. But no, all you guys care about is halo 3. If your home was destroyed, halo 3 wouldn't be on your mind, would it? You'd be worried about the future.

I live in NJ, and I'm buying a t-shirt or two to help. Thanks people who care and Bungie!

to: bungie fanatic, dude i couldnt have said it better myself I hate people saying that the US never helps in fact we're the ones that always help Like in WW2 we didnt need to fight in europe our war was in japan but we fought in Europe anyways, Vietnam, Terrorism, Iraq, the tsunami in fact the U s was the country that donated the most during the Tsunami Now nothing towards Canada this is towards Paladin its people like you that get a lot og bad criticism towards your country and theres people imn America that make us all look bad you cant judge a country based on a few idiots.

Ok, get this... I ABSOLUTELY HATE the ignorant asses that dont give a care about New Orleans and the surrounding area. As i have stated, I live in Pensacola, Florida and people up north have no clue what it is like. Until help comes, you have to rely on YOURSELF to survive. I was hit directly by Ivan and it was a bad S.O.B. I can imagine what it is like for these people. The world needs to have a little compassion for these folks and quit being jerkoffs. And for the a-hole in Canada, (XxPaladinxX) if i knew you personally,I would put you in a coma. Get over yourself you freggin wigger.

Master Chief is fighting the flood, an enemy of halo that does destruction. It's a parasitic life form that takes a host and turns him into one of them.

There is a real flood in the South, and we can fight it too.

Hopefully all the careless canadians will have a disasterous blizzard in their case. Canada may not be able to get hurricanes but they can get snow storms.

Yay! I have an amazing new t-shirt on the way!

Tons of stuph being done even here in the desert of Idaho. Lots of $ drives being put on by local radio stations, lots of people I know are donating. 2 HUGE cargo planes just left the airfield this morning. One filled with bottled water, one on its way to pick up emergency personel. My wife is busy all next week helping organize a group to make quilts and put together supplies.

Thanks for helping to facilitate this for your fans Bungie!

I live in MS, but not at the coast, more towards central MS. It seemed bad here, we had a lot of trees down, and some house damage, but no one lost there house. It was nothing compared to what actually happened at the coast. I go to MSU right now and people all over campus are affected by Katrina. A lot of them don't have a house to go to or they don't know if their family and friends are alive. soo.... buy a t-shirt!!!! oh yeah... and please pray about it... God can do anything.

its nice to see Bungie getting involved and nice to see that some of us gamers care enough to stop whining and stop playing to see whats going on around us and trying to help. I'm proud of ya'll who are trying to make a difference, trying to help in whatever way you can.

I'm want to help out as well, I know many people who are trying to help out with this as well, I don't care about something as meaningless as some text about an update we will be getting anyway. What is more important is the update they actually put out. Please try and help out if you can. There may be people that you knew living down there right now, you never know. Bungie is a great company like I always know they were. This just goes to show you they have good character unlike some of the people in this community. Everyone who helps out with this are the best Halo players because they have a good heart and know what is right in this world. That's the problem with society nowadays is that there is a large amount of people who only care about themselfs and don't do the right things.

I'll end my post with a quote from the trailer of the Harry Potter: GoF trailer.

"Soon we all must face a choice, between what is right, and what is easy"

Thanks for reading my post :D

although a mod told me to have respect i will not respect looters...that is the only thing holding me back from donating more money because i don't want them to get money....i can see stealing food and some clothes because you got nothing and i don't have a problem with that....i can see stealing boats to get around and rescue people with but i don't see why you are gonna need 10 pairs of shoes for only yourself or taking T.V's because nobodys stopping you.....
however i have seen footage and gave up about 50 bucks of allowance to donate to the relif effort. i have started walking to school to save gas and i take this very seriously....
having done research on those leeves and being a trainee in weather spotting i know that it was going to be a bad hurricane....i would like to say to anyone saying that this is so stupid and thats what are taxes go for....well your kinda right...that goes to pay for relif...not fixing anything...mississippi is losing 500k every day those casinos are not open...one month = about 15 million dollars...that's alot of money...in new orleans they have a list to complete before people will be alowed back into the city.
1. dam up broken leeves
2.pump lake out
3.pump city water into the lake (they have to filter it and make sure pumps don't clog with debrie.
4.get bodies and demolish and clean all houses (MOLD)
5. bulid new leeves
estimated cost is around 10 billion dollars right now....so this is why you have to donate...please guys this is a huge problem and it may not seem like much but it is well worth it.

The President said taking what you need to survive will be allowed, STEALING will not...everyone can understand people coming out with bandages, food, drinks, diapers, formula....but are you going to do eat a TV set? how about a stereo system? what are ya gonna do plug them in so you can get info on the "devastating hurricane" I also for the life of me can't understand why all these morons are shooting at the rescue choppers, at the doctors....at the people trying to save their lives. Seriously people, get a grip.
