First off: I'm keen to know if the Bungie Store sells outside North America (as in the Netherlands). If this is the case, one or two t-shirts will be shipping to my place soon. But I'd have to know if it's possible to get the shirts here.

If not, I will find another way to help the people in and around New Orleans!

I would also like to say that the Netherlands have a frigate of the Royal Navy underway from the Dutch Antilles. It can turn salt water into water you can drink, and it will do its best to help you all in New Orleans! The only thing is that Mr Bush didn't ask for it, but our prime minister decided we'd better have it on its way... just in case.
The Dutch have also offered extensive knowledge and expertise concerning the fight against the water.. as some of you might know the Netherlands are sub-sea-level for a big part (heck, I'm at 5 meters below sea level), and since the major devastation because of a flooding in 1953, we have gained much knowledge on how to defend ourselves. One tiny thing, Mr Bush has to approve of us giving help.

Anyway, I hope Bungie will sell loads of shirts, and may the (American) Red Cross succeed in helping every single person. Period!

Daan

GREAT, NOW THAT I KNOW WHAT THE LOGO IS I AM GOING TO BUY A SHIRT.

OTHERS SHOULD DO THE SAME. THIS IS OUR COUNTRY, OUR PEOPLE AND OUR DUTY AS CHILDREN OF THIS COUNTRY TO HELP OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS. DONT BE THE PERSON WHO THINKS THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO YOU, BECAUSE SOMETHING LIKE IT SOMEDAY MAY HAPPEN. WHAT HAPPENS TO ONE AMERICAN IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL AMERICANS!

Yeah, when this happened to Florida, we got loads of support. FEMA came and gave people trailers and refunded the money they spent preparing for the hurricanes. Then again though, people are still in thoughs trailers...

The aftermath of Hurricane Katrina is proving worse than the storm itself. People are dying. We can help. Come on in and see what YOU can do to help women, children, the elderly, the starving and the sick in Louisiana and Mississippi. We've never been more serious.

U must be glade that this happened and not that "it" happened but so u won't have to write of something totally stupid like usually in the up dates. I mean this is a game site not a f u c k i n g news site...

Hi guys...when you say this is a grim week I know all too well what you mean, I lost two aunts to this hurricane in New Orleans and it's been rough for my family. But I sincerely believe that this is not as worse as it can get, if anything it will get more worse...I don't mean to be a bump on the log but it's true.I also sincerely believe that if the American people can get through Pearl Harbor, and September 11 then we can surely get through this, because we are a people with a strong "Let's Go" attitude and we WILL get through this no matter what because with our awesome strength and might we will prevail.

Frankie! y don't u visit Mississippi and New Orleans and help them out? i will stay behind and try to get people to donate few bucks(well hope it's not really few bucks) for those poor people without anywhere to go.
Oh ya~! it would be GREEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT if Microsoft and bungie help them out and donate ALOT of money for them since they would have 44% less the normal regeneration budget from the government and it's something really making people happy being some help for them...
well if i can i wanna go join red cross to help them out but...i'm too young for that...(will they allow 15 year olds to help them???..i think maybe...)

Hi guys (inc Bungie super-dudes),

I live in the UK and the postage costs are something silly like $43 (plus the $20 shirt). I don't suppose there's any likelyhood of a mass UK purchase, so UPS doesn't repossess my family?

If not i'll go donate directly, but i thought the T-shirt was a great idea.

Or, I don't mind helping Bungie to distribute them in the UK? anyone with any bright ideas feel free to grab me at jamie.cockrill_at_gmail.com (sorry, just to stop that addy getting auto-spammed)

magic

and yes, i know it's spelt wrong, that was intentional.

A big thanks goes out to Bungie from me for the effort you guys are making to help the victims in the southern central states. I will badger my parents to get them to buy me at least one of those fundraising t-shirts, maybe two or three. Come on people, let's do our best to fight the flood.

I was in New Orleans in January. I partied real hard. It is a bummer that now that was possibly the last mardi gras ever. That is besides the point. I was just trying to gap my personal feelings with what is going on so i can relate a bit ya know.

here are some facts, i am getting from the people i stayed with in NO.

There are more bodies turning up due too gunshot wounds more than the flood.
Local hotels that are still in tact are being turned into MASH houses by local and visting doctors who were there for an AIDS confection.
Looters are shooting back at the police who BTW 60% of turned in their badges just in the last 2 days.
Marshall law was declared and there are 1 national guards man for every 25 people. Their orders are shoot first.
The superdome, people are being raped and killed for their possesions.
Outlaying cities are barracading due to refugeess who ransack homes and famlies.
Bush said he refuses to ask for help from other countries. he dipped airforce one down out of the clouds whilst flying over to see the destruction, then proceeded to SanDiego to party with old buisness chums.

America is finding out real quick how spoiled and desperate we are. The matter at hand is the crowds are turning over red cross trucks for the food.

I bought a t-shirt. I want to remember all this. I don't want anybody on these forums to think that this isn't a big deal. It is. The people are unwilling to recieve the help from the organizations we are donation too, in an orderly fashion. sounds stupid probably because it took 3 days before anybody stepped up to the plate. The Tsunami only took 18 hours. what is wrong with us? buy a damn shirt. better yet get some body armor and go to a rescue relief center and ask to volunteer. red cross is asking now for military support.

I already tried to vlounteer, i was rejected due to my past rejections from the military for arthritis in my legs. SO i bought a shirt and donated $1000 through our companies red cross donation wire. if you have family i pray they are safe.

First off, I worked long an hard finding these links for myself, and just wanted to share it, and hopefully everyone could donate, even donating a dollar would help a lot.

My heart, and hopefully everyone else's goes out to those who were devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Read on to find out how you can help survivors and their families by making monetary donations to charity organizations.

The recent devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in the US is being cited as one of the most significant events to have hit the United States, aside from 9/11.

The death toll continues to rise and tens of thousands of people are without homes. Read the CNN updates for more information on the tragedy.

* American Red Cross International Response Fund
* Charity Hospital of Louisiana at New Orleans
* Feed the Children
* Habitat for Humanity International
* Humane Society of the United States
* Louisiana SPCA
* Mercy Corps
* National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster
* Noah's Wish
* Petsmart Charities Inc
* Foster Parent's Plan
* Salvation Army National Corp
* United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area
* Water Missions International

If you can't donate money, Crafter's United, where you can donate artwork or other items for sale and the proceeds will go toward the relief effort.

Here are some links to donate food, clothing etc:

The first one is the largest foodbank network in the US.

America's Second Harvest. Dry storage goods..Food, Water

Houston Food Bank Non perishable items..toiletry kits, toothpaste and toothbrushed, etc.

Clothes can be donated to most local area churches.

And of course, you could buy the shirt Bungie has to offer to donate.

Thanks.

i can't get the shirt right now but I can say that Canadians see all thats going on down there and we can't believe it. Billions of dollers to help rebuild????? I mean New Orleans was a death trap to begin with. Who says it won't happen again. i mean look at the florida keys...Millions of $ went to rebuild those houses out of TAX PAYERS MONEY!!!!!! And it's just stupid if you ask me. Go ahead and get money for the ppl who lost every thing but in my thoghts....Don't rebuild....MOVE! Don't this happen a second time. Good luck America!

I kinda wished for a game update, but this is much better. It's good to see Bungie taking such a big step to help out the disaster victims. I'm a college student, but I already donated about $25 bucks, and I'll but a shirt off of here while i'm at it. And a ledgendary beer stein cause it looks cool as hell.

Oh, and anyone saying that Bungie sucks should have their head dipped in a vat of hot oil. Seriously, they make great games, and they apparently can put together a great relief effort. Way to go.
