man that is the -blam!-tiest thing to ever happen in the world. its bigger than the tsunami but anyways here is how i see it.

Im not a religious guy and never have been but anyways,
Well, New Orleans has, i mean had all the Marty Graas and Sin City, hookers and sluts, murders and robberies and all that illegal -blam!- right? Well the way i see it is that if there is a big guy up there, he finally got pissed off.

this hurricane has hit me closer than i thought it would. just the other day i remembered that i have a good friend whom i played xbox live with who used to live in new orleans: Joe Mamah. it bothers me that i havent heard from him in a while. it hurts even more not knowing for sure whether he is safe or not. i surely hope to hear from him soon, and to all the families and folks down in new orleans and surrounding areas....god bless.....

thank you bungie. you have created a family of gamers who thankfully know that there is more to life then just a rank in a video game.

joe mamah....if you by some chance read this, please e-mail me so i know that you are ok.... kittles978@msn.com

Wow, that was a really good update. I had already seen the t-shirts and bought two of them plus donated around $600 to the relief effort. I decided that should be enough for me as that exhausted my savings. But, what do you know? I got paid today, and after reading that I've decided to buy two more t-shirts. I'd go for more, if I had the money. Good luck to all in this time of crisis!

I just want to say that what Bungie is doing is awesome. Right now in my area, Lake Charles La, we have close to 15,000 refugees. We still have shelters for these people opening everyday. We are enrolling the children of age into our local schools. Non- Profit organizations such as Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are trying to round up school uniofrms and school supplies for these people.

I am not from New Orleans, but I am from Louisiana. I think that its really important that outsiders know just how desperate these people's situation is. They have nothing guys. Less than nothing! They have no homes, no clothing, no money, no jobs. The majority of the New Orleans population has nothing to look forward to other than the fact that they are alive!
They have lost litterally everything.

Most of these people will be living in shelters such as the Astrodome for months. Put yourselves in their shoes! How would you like to lose everything important in your life in an instant? Lose your home, family, jobs, everything? And then have to live they will have to live?

Donate in any way you can! If you think you can't afford it, think about these people the next time you order pizza or even go buy a coke! They can't even buy a bottle of water or a can of formula for their starving infant! Every penny you dopnate helps these people!

  • 09.03.2005 12:30 AM PDT

I'm all for helping these unfortunate people, these poeple are our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, and our children. They are the people of America.
These are very sad times here in America and my heart really goes out to the victims of Kitrina and the families that are left homeless.
New Orleans will never be the same and people will never forget.

Best Wishes, Nick G.

Its so sad. The world is falling apart. Floods, 911, hurricane, tsunami's....sheesh whats next...
This disaster is just painful. I'm glad Bungie is doing something like this to Help Out. The T-shirt looks so cool, and its for a good cause, I'm for sure buying it.

rock steady peoples, rock steady...

IMHO the shirt sucks and if you want to help just send money. That shirt is not even cool. No one will understand it that doesn't play halo. You can get a shirt from about anywhere with color and stuff that all the procedes go to help the effort.

TO THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK THIS IS SOMETHING TO JOKE ABOUT:This is why adults hate children. You little bastards are completely ignorant to what is happening in your own country. You sit in your mother and father's comfortable home and eat, drink, sleep, play, and go to public schools while people in YOUR OWN COUNTRY are suffering through a situation you can not even begin to grasp. I would take extreme joy in dropping you spoiled, ignorant pricks into the middle of the Superdome to have a firsthand look at what a crisis is truly is. You have no idea what happens in this world or how lucky you are to have a family that cares about you.

You all are the reason I am PRO-ABORTION.

I'm buying a T-shirt and sending the link to do the same to all of my buddies who aren't on live and don't frequent this site but play at home with their friends. I'm probably going to circulate this around my church for ALL of the guys I game with.

I'm also going to send them the information about the upcomming auction. that auction was a GREAT idea. I'm really proud of you guys (bungie) for stepping up. I was going to write you guys a letter today about this, but you beat me to the punch.

This disaster is heart breaking. It's hard not to just bawl when you see these kids under a year old in the arms of people they don't know because their parents have been washed away or are just missing. It's hard to fathom what these people are going through.

We're all so used to seeing these disasters in the movies. I don't think anyone but the people who are there really understand what the devastation is really like. God help them, and let us help.

A large chunk of the helpdesk I work on is going to volunteer. Some are going to tulsa to man phones. Others are heading down to mississippi. I am the sole income provider in my family of three (soon to be four), so buying a T-shirt, participating in the auction, and spreading the word are the LEAST I can do.

I hope everyone else who is unable to travel will do the same. There are a LOT of fans who don't read this site. Spread the word.

My friends and I regularly play customs on Sunday nights. One of our crew lived in the affected area. Apparently, he evacuated in time and is now in Texas with some family. I'm not really going anywhere with this -- I just thought I'd share it.

Thank you for the t-shirts Bungie! I wanted to do something, but didn't know what. You gave me a way to help.
