Everyone is entitled to their own wrong opinion.

I'm part of the Bungie.net Minecraft group/server called SeptaCrafters
We're a Bungie.net group that goes to our very own Bungie server. Most players are from the Halo community either off Bungie itself or through word to Halo friends.

A 30 in Halo 2 is equal to a 50 in Halo 3.

So really anyone ca reach a 40. I would say anything below 30 would be bad unless they like social more.

Keep reading, its not getting any better!

for most people it will be 50. but for someone to be considered good you gotta look at different things like win to lose ratio (even tho there are double EXP) and like k/d.

yes having a 50 means you can compete with some of the better players, but the best players and what is considered good is anyone who can get there rank, and play on it over and over again.

So what if I'm better?

seeing as I just got my xbox at christmas, but had been playing halo for 2 years before it, I'd say a 22 like me can be good. But my circumstances aren't normal. I'm as good as my friend who's a 50.

Hates to love and loves to hate.

You're usually really good at 44.

That being said:
Brigadier Generals are the most skilled players I've ever seen. They usually have thousands of logged games indicating experience and dominate the scorecharts. Had I the choice, I'd rather be the rank of Brigadier General than a five star, simply because it looks cooler and I don't want to be associated with the n00b caste.

100% agreed.

For me your good if you do everything in your power to help the team win and you do. Levels can not prove this. Level 45 players can out play level 50s. It is more of outsmarting the other players than anything.

I have never played against a Brigadier General I would consider great.

QFT.

lol at the "noob caste." There are horrible 50s, but you can't be "great" if you are below a 50.

"Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."

Get at me

IMHO, 50.

A team of birdies will never beat a team of good 50s.

True. But how often do you see legit fifties compared to the boosters?

  • 07.23.2010 10:36 PM PDT

To be considered good by any person you must be close in skill, just as good, or better than the person judging you.

I run into legit 50's more often than any other rank.

coming from a non-50 here, 50

and even then quite a bit of 50s are pretty awful.
Agreed, and 45s have a understanding of the game and grasp advanced concepts (like weapon timing, spawns etc...)

It depends on what playlist you play and what rank you are in the playlist. If you play high ranks in mlg they will most likely be good 50's, but if u are just playing social slayer there is a good chance they will be bad.

Rank doesn't matter, it's how you play that matters.

Baring what you said in mind, if you play good, then shouldn't you have a good rank?
