Yes.
Posted by: kantk2008
Just because I'm a staff captain doesn't mean I suck.

Yes it does. Not rank trolling, truth.

If your a good gunner, got a mic, and need a driver, then I'm your wheelman.

Just because your below a 35 doesn't mean you suck. Some of us don't care, and it does depend on who you team up with in ranked. I have a higher skill in Squad Battle than most of the people playing it (Most are 5-12), but have lost a lot on the account of the rest of my team. In Ranked Team Slayer, I made the mistake of playing this a whole lot when not very good, and am now nearly rank locked, and it has been impossible to rank up, also if the Bungie computer puts you on a team that loses, or you can't pull enough to help everyone win, what can you do. We have no control over the Bungie system.

All of the rest of my Ranked playlists are very low as I don't play ranked much, as a like being a wheelman, and social offers more vehicle opportunities. So to say I suck, but I have more wheelmen in only 2yrs. of play than most 50's is lame, because I probably helped a few of them get a ton of kills. Heck, my buddy thats a Brig Gen gets a ton of kills off me when I am driving for him. He wouldn't have that nice 45 or all the exp if I hadn't helped him.

So just remember, don't hate on your wheelmen. They are sacraficing their K/D and their rank to make you look better, but they can drive circles around you, and help you get your job of killing done easier.

Generalizations and assumptions don't cut it. True skill comes with experience (not as in exp), not only a number. When a player does good in a number of matches against others who do good in a number of matches, and he's below the top rank, you consider him bad? Rethinking how that works can be beneficial to a lot of people here who so fervently claim that because they're good, and their number is good, everybody different is bad. There can be so many factors that tie in, yet with all of the ignorance here, it is so hard to be seen.

Teamwork means staying out of my way.

Anybody who uses level to determine if a player is good or not is a dope. There are so many noobs out there that buy 50's on Ebay to try to get people to respect them. I'm only a 40 myself but thats just because I don't play ranked or try to level up. I dominate 50's all day everyday. It's silly.

The only time I ever really get handled is playing BTB against an entire party of 50's but then it's not because of their level, it's because they are a whole party using teamwork while I'm just one guy with a bunch of randoms. Obviously we are going to lose.

How many people are going to say this over and over. You just said you dont play ranked often, so that means your beating 50s in social which counts for nothing cause social means nothing and thats where the majority of bought 50s go. You should search 50 high anything and youre bound to run into legitimate 50s

I would say 48, in some cases (i.e. me) there is no difference between a 48 and a 50; I went from 48 to 50 in two days after being a 48 for quite a long time.

I'm a 46 so I'd say anything above that is probably good.

Especially considering "good" is entirely subjective and of course I wouldn't think anyone below my rank could be "good". I mean...they're beneath me and my ego, and self-esteem, are entirely driven by pixelated numbers in an FPS.

Than again, anyone above me more than likely isn't good and just cheated, boosted, eBay'd, and/or pulled host to get there. No one can be better than me legitimately. I'm teh b3st ev4r and they're all teh sux.

After much consideration...I'll have to go with level 51 (but they probably boosted anyway).

Alright, I'm a 50. And I like brigadiers and force colonels on my team. Often times, the 50's are legit but every time, the brigadiers and force colonels are legit. 50's spend too much time boosting and deranking and a minority of generals have disgraced the entire lot of them. 5 Star General is a rank that is truly great, i'm almost there lol and i feel like they should get the most respect. Because theres not a whole lot of boosted 5 star gens out there. With a few exceptions of those that bought a 50 and spammed double exp. So the ranks I think are good, 5 star general, 4 star general, brigadier grade 2,3,4 and force colonel.

Lol, 2 niche statements by bad people.

"I don't play ranked alot" and "I beat 50s anyways so it doesnt matter"
