The team is happy to present the final release of the Third Generation maps. Work began over a year ago starting with Augur, so we could say a year in the making. So, after a year in the making we finally finished four maps: CMT_G3_Augur, CMT_G3_MouseTrap, CMT_G3_Ruins, CMT_G3_Vestigial. The maps host a variety of gameplay that would satisfy any players appetite. Whether it be vehicle carnage or run and gun mayhem.

We would also like to unveil the team's new personal site. This is where we can post news updates and host the builds of our maps. It even shows the status to our ingame server. Head over to our site and check it out: http://www.cmtmaps.net/main/category/general-news/

The maps will be hosted on the CMT Server later today. I will be switching the version back to 1.09. Until then enjoy playing with yourselves for the first time on the maps.

Interesting, here's hoping Gearbox is actually making Halo Reach PC.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Pretty cool, but as I think you also experienced, constant exception errors.

I've made it my life goal to never become too stressed. So if I appear to be doing nothing all the time and generally never working particularly hard on any task, that's my plan in action.

Played this earlier, They are AMAZING. I love the way that you've included most of the good Halo 2 and 3 weapons (Carbine, SMG, Battle Rifle, Halo 3 Assault Rifle).

One thing I'm curious of think it would be possible to include a Mongoose on the map based of Battle Creek, I think that'd spice' up some of the game play, also Beam Rifle anyone? :D

I ignored that question because these maps are finished.

It's also sad that (forget name, sorry) believe that the content was ripped from halo 3. Makes you not appreciate all the people who have worked on making the content themselves without ripping. The only main things that were ripped are some delta halo bitmaps and a few scenery pieces. Other than that all the stuff was made by individuals in the community who at one point helped out CMT.

ok, then that makes it better than I thought.
What will you do now, without anymore releases no one has anything to look forward to. If your team is able to help in current projects, I suggest this one. help make it for PC, and merge bsps into one, and re-purpose the scripts and ai encounters.

Making campaign co-op on PC would be more awesome sauce it'll be more worth it, and people can replace stock campaign maps with these "co-op" compatible maps.

A script to check if there is more than 1 player, it will enable co-op mode.
