That was a very long/great update!
Love all the insight from you guys, however I have to say, I disagree with Opdahl about the feeling of being lost in a Halo game.
My best moment was in Halo:CE, flying up to the control room where Marty's "Siege of Madrigal" music played; and just sat there, staring out through the blankets of snow at dusk/night, just totally calm and in awe of the setting and stakes I was in. I then pressed forward, but that moment and many others of just being allowed to voluntarily get far away from the objectives and the beaten path to reflect made those the most memorable Halo experiences, for me. That, and scripted/procedural events -- those are the best!
Guess I have to go dark now, bumz.
