OK, so i'm sure as with almost all xbox-live games you can host a dedicated server on halo2...

My question is... I'm sure all of us have encountered that annoying kid who always is bragging/taunting/flaming, and pretty much gets on everyones nerves. And we all get SO aggrivated when his response to his teammates asking him to stop is "what are ya guna do, kick me?"

Well I think a good solution to this problem is giving the person who has been in the game the longest to have control over the situation. Maybe not direct control of kicking whoever he wants, but having the availability of a vote, which would then consent him to get rid of that one annoying kid.

If player "x" has been in the game the longest at 45 min. for example, and player "y" gets on everyones nerves and everyone agrees he should be kicked, player "x" would have to recieve maybe 3/4 of the players votes, which would consent him the right to kick player "y"... understand?

I thinks its a great way to free us of late night halo 2 flamers

the "host" ( i assumed) would have the power to kick whoever they wanted...the host being the person who started the room, or the person it "switched" over to after the original host left. This is listed on their faq page, although the method in which the new host (moderator) of the room will be chosen has not yet been revealed (afaik). {not the kicking ability, rather how the host will be determined, is what is listed on the faq page}

if your going to have to take a vote. why not all just agree on one person to start a new game and have everyone join in.

All-inclusive democratic vote with no weight being given to anyone seems fairest to me. The dedicated host having total control to boot anyone he/she pleases...
