I'd like to see a hybrid CTF / Domination game type for Halo2. The maps would contain the two team bases plus some strategically placed intermediary bunkers in between. These bunkers would serve as a combination domination point, spawn area and ammo supply bunker. Excellent for large maps, if your team captures one of these bunkers, some members of your team would spawn closer to the enemy main bunker, in which the flag appears.
Control of the intermediary bunkers would lend a decided advantage to the team who can hold onto them. I can even see gunner turrets placed on top of these bunkers. However, it should not be impossible to capture a bunker from an enemy, only difficult.

Ya, I like that idea... though I would change it a bit. Perhaps some bunkers would have only certain weapons and advantages, for example there could a sniper or rocket bunker (don't know how well it would work, but it is an idea), and when you capture all... say... 6 bunkers, including the enemy base you win. To capture you must take a flag from your base to one of these, or hold it for say 30 seconds with not allowing enemies in side it. If an enemy gets inside then the timer restarts.

by domination do you mean like double domination in the unreal games?

I think if you're the one who takes the bunker then you can respawn there, if you die by an enemy taking it over you have one chance to respawn there and take it back

I like the idea of randomly respawning at different captured bunkers (this would make it easy to have a formidable defense at each bunker. I also think that if you are being respawned at a bunker and the enemy captures it, you should be rerouted to the nearest bunker instead.

But if you're a sniper you'll want to take the sniper bunker and respawn there if dead

You stole this whole bunker Idea from Freedom Fighters. I want HAlo, not Freedom fighters. I do not like the idea. But they bettter have a gametype like in Unreal Championship where you have to control 2 sectors for 10 seconds to score.

This sounds like Unreal Tournament which might i add is a pretty cool game but still doesnt seem to be a great as Halo but cool nonetheless.

None of my ideas are new, by any stretch of the imagination.
I'd just like to see some of the best ideas out there in the game world get blended together, and combined, to make for more interesting gameplay.

OFF Topic:how bout the announcer says other stuff like head shot.as far as game modes im not sure.
