In halo 1 we saw that you could pick up over-shields to give you more defense, and invisibility cloaks to give u stealth but do u think we will see any other kind of shields, or perhaps advanced versions of these, to make them last longer, or perhaps a stronger shield? also would the camoflage cloak be more effective as it was still far too easy to spot your opponant!

while im at it how would u all feel if a Speed Booster was included, i mean if u can get stealth and armour enhancers, why not speed? or strength even? this kind of things could add new exceitment to the game, and could be useful if u could perhaps run away from your enemys faster, or perhaps kill them in the single shot of a bullet, if ur surounded....couldnt u use a speed/strength enhancer?

it was called camoflague and it worked exactly like camoflague
you get too close and you can see him, he shoots and his cover is blown. it wasn't invisibility and therefore does not act like invisibility

Dude, your lame ideas would ruin the game of Halo. Especially with a freakin speed booster, I mean honestly why would MC need a speed booster? Let me answer that for you, HE DOESN'T!

Powerups were cheap, even worse than the SPNKr, I would like to see them gone completely from Halo 2.

there isn't going to be any camofluage, health packs, overshield, and any other power ups you can think up.

None.

Just because you don't like them doesnt mean they shouldn't be in there. You're not the only one who plays the game...there are milions others. Which is why they need to have it be an option.

The powerups weren't exactly cheap, good players will always find ways to defeat them. It adds a strategic twist to the game. Your opponent has an overshield and you don't have the only have like an assault rifle. What do you do instead? Grenades? Wait it out? Find a SPNKR rocket launcher? It makes multiplayer a bit more interesting, so it isn't always "who has the bigger gun". And BTW, the powerups have a slow respawn time so you can't constantly get them.

Camo did piss some people off... but are you going to dare say that it didnt have some beautiful moments with it? Killing 4 enemies and watching there buddies run around shooting randomly and throughing nades at each other. Or how about that time you are sitting there and you blink.. but you saw something! a blur! Random fire and a corpse appears on the ground... and you hump... oh did you hump that corpse.
I know it sounds like I enjoy necrophelia too much, but I'm just trying to say its for the best, it adds alot of fun... at times of course. If anything, unless they can think of something balanced, creative, and non-cliche (is that a word?) such as.. .say.. strength power ups, speed boosters, or say... a mushroom that makes you grow in size. At best, they should have those items to be able to be turned off when you create your game mode, but it would be dissapointing to see them completely removed...

And they may have removed it from a later build, but there is a Kikizo Halo 2 MP video in which you see a guy invisible, so in that build it was there, and that would be quite a waste of time if they had to re-write the code to match the new engine and chars, and make sure the dynamic lighting works and refracts from invisibile people, just to throw it out cause some people dis-liked it. I think it will be an option to have on or off.

i think they should make it where everyone likes it by adding an option too turn the power ups on and off

besides in single player the camo came in handy but it had an explanation it came from the elites the overshields dont really have an an explanation i think the overshields should be taken out

The over shield is deffinately in Halo 2 i font know if any others are this shows a pic of an overshield: http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/game/docs/20040513/halo04.htm
But i think they should stick with OS and AC.

But sinse they have an overshield according to this pic then there proly will be an AC because and OS was less explainable than an AC, so yea they will prolly have it, but to add anything more would be stupid.

In the maw when you pick up an over-shield you see two dead spec-ops elites beside it, so by your logic, overshields "come from" elites as well.

(this was to i no im stupid)

i hat the power ups, they was no reason for them to be in game, it is too weird (even for the covenant) to have geometric shapes with spheres in the middle, and u just get enhanced walking over them, too out of place
